@@goodluck1024 How does auxin detects light? Auxin is a plant hormone produced by shoot tips. Auxin has sensory receptors which can sense light (when you are exposed to hot sun you will automatically move to a shaded area even when you are blindfolded, because your skin sense the presence and absense of light, which is the same in which auxin can detect the light) Why does auxin move away from the light? The plant shoot must grow towards the source of light to expose a larger surface area of its leaves to the light (for photosynthesis). Auxin moves away from the light to bend the plant towards the light. For example if the light source is at the right then a higher concentration of auxin diffuses to the left to bend the plant to the right (towards the light source). How does auxin bend the plant shoot? Imagine a situation when the light source is at the right. Auxin sense light is at the right and knows its role is to bend the plant towards the light so it moves to the left (shaded side). Auxin stimulates cell elongation. A higher concentartion of auxin in the left (shaded side) than the right (sunny side) causes a faster growth in the left (shaded side) than the right (sunny side). The left side still grows, but slower than the right. So the shoot bends towards the right (towards the sun, showing positive phototropism) Why does a lengthening at the left (shaded side) causes a bending towards the right (sunny side)? A person in the left wants to go foward (shaded side;many auxin), but another person on the right (sunny side;less auxin) goes still goes foward but very slowly. One person pulling backwards and the other runs foward. The one that runs cannot keeps going straight as there is pressure so it has to follow the direction of the slow moving person. This simulation could be done with a mouldable substance or with another person. If this is helpful make sure to reply me!

Excellent explanation
Very nice 👌
This was so intersting. Thank you
What is agar
Anyone please please tell me how auxin moves away from light 😞
Cause of diffusion
Noo that's wrong ..
auxin move toward the light
So so great🙏🏿🙏🏾
1934 me auxin ko kis ne perform kiya tha
Super bro
Thank youu
Hello sir!!
Actually I have alot of questions regarding these videos.
So, can you please tell me that how can v contact u.
Thank u.
Hi, I am a biology student...... So if you have any questions you can ask me and I will try to answer...

👍
If auxin was a cocktail drink, you'd only find it in "seedy joints" :p
Not good explanation
auxin was discovered by went
He isolated it not discovered it
Excellent explanation
