sir didn't explain what is local maxima local minima global maxima and when they are increasing and decreasing ,how to check in graph at which points it is increasing and decreasing across intervals etc and many other things ,he direclty started with taking graphs and just keeps on solving himself without any proper intro of what is maxima and minima ,am i missing some previous lectures if yes pls give those links
i too didn't get this class very well, felt something is missing. In other classes of GO, I would really get the concepts but not this one, had to google many terms and still not very confident here.
same i also didn't get this lec completely
There is a writing mistake 1:02:28, it is f(x), not f'(x) curve
Go classes lectures are really helpful to understand topics in deep and easy way.
I get confidence to face harder problems.
1.Maximum (Singular)
A maximum is the highest point of a function within a certain interval or domain.
It refers to a single point where the function reaches its greatest value compared to nearby points.
There are two types of maximum:
Local (or Relative) Maximum: The function has a maximum value within a small neighborhood around that point.
Global (or Absolute) Maximum: The function has a maximum value over its entire domain.
2.Maxima (Plural)
Maxima is the plural form of maximum.
It refers to all maximum points of a function, whether they are local or global.
In other words, if a function has multiple points where it reaches a peak (locally or globally), each of those peaks is called a maximum, and collectively they are called maxima.
Great job sir explained very well🎉
brilliant!!!
1:15:54 How *6
The answer in the lecture is correct.
Great Lecture!
very helpful and explained in deep
thanks for explaining the intuition behind second derivatives....very informative
Excellent
amazing explanation
amazing😍
Nice explanation sir🔥
Sir , You have completed the linear algebra course for Gate DA so well... are you going to teach Calculus for Gate DA completely on RUclips like linear algebra?
Hi, No...Only GATE CSE Calculus will be covered for free.
GATE DA Calculus has more lectures than GATE CSE Calculus
Great lecture sir. The example of F(x) = x^2 for explanation of first and second derivative was great example
good content
Nice :)
Superb explanation sir 🤩
