    Regards this great Ice melt, causing the oceans levels to rise 400ft
    I live in Tasmania Australia, and it was between 12,000 - 10,000 years ago, that ocean levels rising over a period of time cut off Tasmania from mainland Australia, but before that rise, it was joined and could be walked, resulting in the Tasmanian Aboriginal's becoming cut off and isolated from the mainland
    Other finds which also point to Tasmania and mainland Australia being once joined, is the Tasmania Thylacine, once considered unique to Tasmania only, whose archaeological remains dating back prior to the sea rise, have been found in the North West of Western Australia

      I just have to say that a rhino is considered a unicorn. There are 1 and 2 horned rhinos. The name was changed although I'm not sure when but when people first saw them they called them unicorns. Because uni means 1. At least that's what I've read. There has also been talk and speculation that sasquatch/bigfoot might be the last of the Neanderthals. I'm not sure I believe that but it might be possible. Who knows. I'm still doing more research on it. Its interesting.

    I suppose the common thread can be one of two things: all flood-stories lead back to a single original narrative; or all flood stories are separate, and something inspired individuals all over the planet to build a big effing boat at about the same time. I would like for the latter to be the correct one (because it is more fun), but it is probably the former. If it is is the former, then how were we ever connected enough for the flood story to spread like it did, and more importantly, how did we ever fall apart so that we forgot where we connected to our common culture?

      or - there is no reason to assume the flood myths are connected or referring to the same event --or that they are not merely exaggerated stories (no reason to believe it is a factual account of people building big boats to survive a flood they could not have predicted long enough in advance to build a boat for it)

      This is what I was wondering. It would take time to make a giant ship like that. They would have had a little time from when the water first started to rise to when they got the boat built and water ready

    • @DwayneShaw1
      @DwayneShaw1 3 дня назад

      @@kinda_chaotically_shey3945 - well IF we are going to pretend the biblical flood myth is actually true - then God gave Noah advance warning that there would be a flood so he had time to build the ark.. and for all the animals to travel there to get on board, including animals on other continents that swam 100's or 1000's of miles to get on a boat so they wouldn't drown.
      Also,according to the story we wouldn't be talking about just the Black Sea flooding - but the whole planet .. Also,, a gradual rise in a inland sea's levels wouldn't require a boat to survive -- you just move to higher ground and rebuild.

    If in fact Noah's ark was indeed round, the Bible would have listed it as the diameter or circumference. It did not. It clearly stated the length, width and height. A round boat would have to be absolutely monstrous to hold all those living things. What about a roof. No roof means in the massive flood, it would fill with water and capsize.

    Hats off To Nutty History, I seen a few other video's on the Ark but none of witch gives Ron Wyatt credit for this, Ron has passed since but, but his family continues his work. Ron was a 7th day Adventist and discovered many biblical findings. Including Noah's house and grave site of him and his wife, the real Mount Sinai and rock of horab, the ark of the covenant, the location of the Red Sea crossing that King Solomon marked with two pillars. That is just some of his discoveries.

      "DR. Wyatt"? - the con artist nurse that claimed to be a doctor? The guy that found the IRON nails of a STONE age boat?? utter nonsense
      "While the Durupinar site is about the right length for Noah's ark, [it is]... too wide to be Noah's ark. Wyatt has claimed that the "boat-shapedness" of this formation can only be explained by its being Noah's ark, but both Shea and Morris have offered other plausible explanations. Likewise, Wyatt has argued that the standing stones he has found are anchors, while Terian is aware of similar stones outside the Durupinar site area that were pagan cultic stones later converted by Christians for Christian purposes"
      "Joe Zias, an archaeologist of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), has stated that "Ron Wyatt is neither an archaeologist nor has he ever carried out a legally licensed excavation in Israel or Jerusalem. In order to excavate one must have at least a BA in archaeology which he does not possess despite his claims to the contrary. ... His claims fall into the category of trash which one finds in tabloids such as the National Enquirer, Sun etc."
      "The Council of the Garden Tomb Association (London) totally refutes the claim of Wyatt to have discovered the original Ark of the Covenant or any other biblical artifacts within the boundaries of the area known as the Garden Tomb Jerusalem. Though Wyatt was allowed to dig within this privately owned garden on a number of occasions (the last occasion being the summer of 1991) staff members of the Association observed his progress and entered his excavated shaft. As far as we are aware nothing was ever discovered to support his claims nor have we seen any evidence of biblical artifacts or temple treasures"

There are many archeological discoveries that validate many parts to the bible but i believe some take the writtings literally instead if figuratively. There's more than enough there not to dismiss it and anyone that thinks they know its not true have absolutely no way of proving that... its a matter of belief at this point. Regardless of religion people need to unify, it has always been a historical source of strength against corruption and ill intent from "powers that be". Peace 😊

    The Story of Noah's Ark was a REVISED version of the Eridu Genesis story written in the 3rd Millenium CBE, then retold as the Sumerian story of Atrahasis, written around 1640 BCE (during the reign of King Ammi-saduqa of Babylonia: 1647-1626 BCE). Then told again in The Epic of Gilgamesh, around 1100 BCE, then plagiarized again into the Hebrew Old Testament, somewhere between 1000 and 500 BCE. Thus even if a REAL ARK was found somewhere, it would not be Noah's.
