This is one of the best things I've ever listened to.
Minus the rap, this is honestly how I imagine this song would sound if it were on RAM rather than Discovery.
this version is miles ahead of the live version if only because the drummer is a bit more conservative which fits the song much better.

I thought the same, the lead singer just doesn't add anything on the live one, plus the guitar solo on this one is so freakin' good, but i liked the drums tho
I actually enjoyed the drumming, but I'm kinda biased towards heavy drumming. But the vocals are clearer in this version so I find it better.

I remember finding this song probably eight years ago when I was about twelve. I was a musician but I wasn't playing anything complicated. I remember watching this cover and a few others of the same song and thinking how amazing it would be to be a part of the band did stuff like that. Now I'm in college for jazz studies and I'm working on arranging my own version of this song. Crazy how things come full circle like that.
