Thank you such knowledgable explanations about which colors work together and why they work together or why they don't. As beiges come back around, I am exploring Maritime White. Would SW Cheviot work as a trim with Maritime White? If so, how would Cheviot look on cabinets?
I agree; there is not enough info about these emerald designer colors in the fan books available by experts yet. I just tried to pair Arrowroot with cheviot based on swatches (beadboard + wall) and it was an epic fail. :(
Which color do you think might mix in with light gray furniture: Canvas Tan or Natural Tan? I’m thinking of switching up from Revere Pewter. I have Pure White kitchen cabinets and white/ivory drapes in my family room. Should I stick with Revere P?
We played hell trying to find an off white/cream color for our living space, which has very little natural light, windows face North and North West, with high trees so tons of shade. Almost everything we loved on the swatch looked completely different in our space b/c of the low natural light. We ended up with Hazelnut Creme from BM......pulls a but orange, but shows really well and bright in our space.
Can you do a review of BM Navajo White with Chantilly and Decorator white due to I have north and south facing windows in open living room / dining room would love to see how the clean whites would work with Navajo white
Oooo, I definitely wouldn't do Decorator's White with it, as it has a violet-gray base that will be a hot mess with the cream of Navajo White. Chantilly Lace can be pretty, a cleaner contrast, but I do prefer something more like BM Simply White or Cloud White :)
@@KylieMInteriorsPaint I was wondering because I went to the houzz website to get some help and I’ve been watching your videos and I also noticed that and they’re supposed to be pros so now I’m questioning what colors to do my living room and dining room since they are open and have the north and south facing windows. right now the north side has blue paint, the one wall that is the living room and the dining room is a bright yellow. It’s a hot mess. One person told me to do all one color SW Alabaster. I’ve been taking a lot of notes watching your videos, but it’s so hard with the north and south windows straight across from one another or maybe I’m making it harder. Thank you for all your time helping us newbies.
Loving it! 🙌🏻 Awesome content as usual and perfect timing, I’m thinking beige now again 😅 I’ve been binge watching your vids for days and they’re awesome, very helpful. Do you think extra white could work with some of the lighter beiges?? I’m about to make my life easier and just go with high reflective white or back to behr ultra pure white in every room lol. I figure they’ll work with everything cool or warm, stark or not. It’s so exhausting trying to find the perfect white trim color for everything lol Also… what do you think of BM super white as an all around trim color?
Too cool. Too cool. Too cool. Ok we get it cool whites are not your jam. My house thrives in cool whites. I have tons of natural woodwork in my home, mostly neutral base furniture pieces leaning taupe. The warm whites feel dingy to me.
Great review, so glad to see beige instead of grays!
ME TOO!
Thank you for the time you put into these videos.
Oh, what a nice comment to read, thank you :)

Fair enough! But with beige and tan colors, warm whites are the way to go!
