- ok hear me out, I don't think a love interest for wednesday is at all needed, I prefer my emotionless girl just the way she is, but if she has to be straight and if she needs a love interest, I take Xavier over that other kid any day of the week.

It's very cute how obvious it was that Xavier liked her from the start in all her mysterious, cold, morbid, confident self. I can see how her falling for a psychopath would fit her personality and the Addams family persona, but at the same time it would be really interesting for her character to fall for someone like Xavier - someone with more emotional and social expression to complement her colder and more socially withdrawn self, but also someone who's inner turmoil reflects her own. Can't wait to see more of them!

I always knew Xavier was Wednesday’s match. There was just too much tension and chemistry between them. Tyler was suspicious when he just straight out said he liked her. It was much too soon and not very sincere somehow.

The only people hating Xavier are lesbians pushing a love relationship with Enid, and crazies romanticizing her with a psycho killer. There is literally nothing wrong with Xavier. People are saying he is obsessive but he never forced his feelings into her, it was Wednesday who forced herself into his private space twice (into his room and into his studio) and found out his feelings for her. And even after he was blamed for something he didn't do and put into jail, he still forgave her. So I only felt pity for him really. Hope she treats him better next season.

I’m convinced that if Wednesday ends up with someone, it’s set to be Xavier. Tyler was a plot twist, it wasn’t genuine, was written to surprise us, and Wednesday got over him. It’s over between them.
Meanwhile she took a whole arrow for Xavier (!!!!!! and people say she doesn’t care about him?! she risked her life for HIM) and left the school talking to him on good terms (and he forgave her even after she nearly ruined his life lol). The whole she saved his life when they were kids so he saved hers and nearly injured himself for her on episode 1. Him painting her. Both having visions. There’s just so much set that I’m sure will be developed in season 2.
There was always a spark from the moment she laid eyes on him in the first episode when he was painting on the school wall while Enid was giving her the low down of the cliques and she was intrigued but got distracted by the “normie” that is Tyler.

Xavier was instantly head over heels for Wednesday at first sight. Always thinking about her and looking out for her. Wednesday plays it cool, but I think she's attracted to him too. My theory is that, she's fighting her feelings for him because she doesn't want to do what's expected of her. Xavier is the perfect match for Wednesday. He is fellow outcast at nevermore, but also an elites like her, plus he wears his emotions on his sleeves when it comes to her. (Like Gomez does with Morticia.) I do hope that they end up together, but I could see Wednesday dragging her heels the whole way. Which is fine with me, because (like Uncle Fester,) I like their tension and chemistry.
SPOILERS AHEAD:
When Wednesday kissed Tyler and then realized he was behind it and she just casually says “I guess I do have a type” made me 💀. I rlly hope this series gets a second season since Wednesday after all did write “the end?” And in if there is a another season I hope she ends with Xavier, or has a good relationship with him. I hope for another season ❤😭

She did have great chemistry with both of them, but I kinda felt like Tyler was just interested in Wednesday bc she was “different”. Every time he felt like Wednesday wasn’t as into him, he’d just get offended and easily back off. Tyler’s interest on Wednesday just felt surface-level and not so genuine. Xavier, meanwhile, had a deeper understanding of Wednesday as a person, and I loved that he also wasn’t afraid to call her out. You could really tell how tortured he was with his feelings, & it just made him more interesting as a love-interest!

While I think that things as they stand are still pretty one-sided on Xavier’s part, I feel like there’s great opportunity to develop their relationship in Season 2!

I watched the show and immediately thought that Xavier had a personality outside of being the emo artist love interest.He has his mental health struggles with his father treating his mental health issues as a PR problem.He apologised to Bianca at the dance knowing he’s wrong.He was also calling Wednesday out on her willingness to reach her goal even if it puts others in danger..So it’s news to me that people were hating on him for being pushy and having no personality.That’s not what I saw on screen.
I prefer Wednesday without a romantic interest but if there has to be romance then I'm okay with Xavier. I really want to see their friendship grow in season 2 even if it doesn't turn into anything romantic I think they need time to bond because there is definitely something there to explore.

I was rooting for the Xavier from the start. Wednesday needs people that will help her and be the best of herself and calls out on her bullshit when it's needed like Xavier. That's what I liked about him. He got her back, grounded her, said the facts and showed the reality around her when it's needed.

At first, I was honestly shipping Tyler and Wednesday because I thought that the awkwardness and shyness of Tyler was cute. However, as I watched more, I got hooked on Xavier and Wednesday's chemistry. The way they talked and argued with each other seemed like something I would encounter in school. I think only Xavier was the one who could really real talk Wednesday and then Wednesday would realize what she had done wrong. Every time I watched them, they had this push and pull vibe on them. Xavier is an interesting and complex character. I do hope that if ever there will be a season 2, Xavier's backstory will be tackled. I also hope that there will be more Xavier and Wednesday moments because I ship them so hard!

I didn't expect this. But I felt some tug in my heart almost every scene they had.
Literally, my friend always liked Tyler more but i always thought Xavier was better for Wednesday. Simply because he did truly care about her even if he was sometimes harsh with his words, he had a reason, and that reason was being lied to and not trusted, but Tyler was lying all along. Xavier truly fell in love for Wednesday and you can see it, they belong to eachother.

I was okay with either one until the big reveal but I leaned more toward him. He never waived on his feelings for her even though he said some things at the end. However, given that she framed him for the murders, he was justified. I also didn’t like how she kept rejecting him or running away every time he put himself out there, but in Wednesday’s defense she wasn’t obligated to return his feelings. I just wanted her to stop being so cold about it but that’s her. Emotionally unavailable so partly that’s his fault cause he knows that about her, but wanted her to change that for him. All that said, if she’s gonna be paired up I wanna see these 2.

And Xavier never pushed his feelings on to Wednesday. She forced her way into is dorm room once and his studio multiple times. But nobody is talking about that. Or that the only reason she wanted to pin being the Hyde onto Xavier is so that he couldn't challenge her emotionally anymore because he would be locked up. And he never asked her to take an arrow for him but she did it on her own accord because she truly cares about him and didn't want him to die. Just like that hug with Enid she finally hugged Enid because she was tired of being emotionless and because Wednesday and Enid went through so much together and they care about each other.
