Sorry I’m a newer player learning. Been following along so far but I don’t understand 7:12. What does sparkle’s skill have to do with getting enough debuffs for Acheron ult there ?
Oh it's not about charging Acheron's ult here. It's more that we only want to use Acheron's ult when all the buffs and debuffs are present, so SW and Pela's debuffs AND Sparkle's skill and ult buffs. But it just happens that Sparkle's buffs have a nice property of lasting till the start of Acheron's following turn. So Acheron can ult right after Pela & SW apply their debuffs and not have to wait for her own turn. Contrast this to the Bronya run where after Pela and SW's turns, we still have to wait till Bronya's turn so that Acheron's ult can benefit from the skill buff.
@@heyoitsbrando For Pela, yes. 157+ SPD with Vonwacq and Wind set (or 174 SPD with just Vonwacq, no Wind). The point is so that she gets 3 turns on wave 1, so she can ult on wave 1, while getting her ult back at the end of wave 1 so that she can ult twice on wave 2 against 2 phase bosses. Note the actual SPD breakpoint depends on the actual last turn on your team. E.g. if your Pela has 156.7 SPD (actual breakpoint), she gets her 3rd action at about 149.9AV. So if your DPS goes slightly earlier at 149.0 AV, then Pela never gets the 3rd turn. If you don't hit this specific breakpoint, there's not really too much use for Vonwacq. For SW, it actually doesn't matter all too much since she's far more difficult to work with. In general, I only use her ult on wave 2, and use the Tutorial LC to get 2 ults on wave 2 if necessary. There are rotations where she can ult once on wave 1 and twice on wave 2, but it's not very kind on SP, and still requires enemy hit rng for energy.
Well that depends on if you're aiming for 0 cycles. There are also other workarounds like with dance dance dance, just that it's generally harder to work with Acheron.
0c is not whale exclusive, it's doable (depending on situations ofc) if you enjoy putting effort into it, and building your account for it. Not only Acheron, but a lot of other chars can do 0c (depending on matchup and stage lineup ofc) with reasonable or even f2p investment. So you can definitely take some of the info you learn from videos like this, and apply them for 0c runs with other DPS/teams/units.
