Hey mate, when I lift the tint off the door panel to apply it gets pointy creases where ever it bends. It highlights after I apply the tint on the glass.
I use Suntek carbon and cxp, is it the tint not flexible enough? Or it’s normal?
      Any recommendations.

@@RandyRandersonthefamous I painted the inside of the windows with a black latex, but it was streaky and much harder to peel off than I thought 😂 visibility was awful, as expected, but dang it looked good from the outside! Someone needs to come up with a cheap option for people not particularly concerned with detail. I wish they made a peel and stick window film, like those rubbery stickers they use on eye glasses.

People can still see in your car at 35%. Just go darker. In my state if you do happen to get stopped then you are given a repair order to remove them. Nothing stopping you from tinting again the next day. A close neighboring state of mine is a $50 fine and you keep your tints. Again only if you happen to get stopped. Most of the time cops in my area are not assholes about tint. It’s worth the risk to me to tint darker.

Awesome vid! I tinted my car back in 03 before the glorious RUclips days and did a pretty good job, considering I went by the crappy box instructions and used a credit card as a squeegie! A few dust particles were missed on the window but other than that it looked real good. No cracks or bubbling. Now I'm going to try with this guy's advice and see what happens with the new car I get next week.

About three times order my tint off the internet and did all four of my cars over the weekend, saving hundreds of dollars,I must say after doing this on my own,and if anyone ask me how was my experience doing this ,I always tell everybody if you don't have patience don't do it,because if you rush while cutting and you mess up,that's gonna cost you money out the pocket, thanks man for a great video, everybody else that's hating on this video ,probably own a tint shop and don't want anybody to give the secrets away,

Straightforward, detailed video. Had to look up a few terms, but excellent video. It’ll take me a few tries, but confident I can perform a good tint job armed with this tut. Mind boggling how many people comment on the amount of water used and their own confusion regarding the complexity of the task. The guy is clearly a pro, and the amount of water used is shown to yield what appears to be a high-quality result. I agree with the guy who said just use less water if you think it’s too much. So many comments remind me of the distracting class clowns who made stupid comments during class in high school for a laugh. Just forces those of us looking for insightful comments to scroll forever, as we wade through people showing off their empty heads. I will now go back to never reading or making comments for that exact reason.
Thank you for the excellent video. It was exactly what I was looking for.

I tried tinting multiple times, and I messed up a couple of times. Lol The hardest part to me was trying to position the tint correctly before it starts to stick to the window. Also I tried to measure the tint to the window and realized the dimensions were different on the outside of curved glass then the inside. The other hard part was cutting the tint accurately so that it doesn't overlap and you realize that after you start squeegeeing it. Thats when you get tons of bubbles and worst of all have to remove the tint and start again. At that point the tint is now damaged and you need another new one. I never heat shrinked the window before. So im guessing that could've been a big factor in the tint overlapping the edges.
