I got a request for this song and I took the chance to post it, since it's perfect for this month. Thanks very much for your comment, all the good wishes and God bless you too!
John singing with the St Michael's Choir (he attended the school for two years) is just lovely. I really like how he harmonizes with the children and keeps his own soaring tenor down to not drown them out : ) Thanks for another John McDermott posting. Never enough John on You Tube!!!
***** You are most welcome, Lady G. I look forward to any of John's songs that you put up on here. His voice is so unique and he is NOT a selfish show off type of singer although his voice has grown in power over the years. By the way, this hymn, Queen of the May, was his late mom, Hope's, favorite hymn. Take care and again, thank you for more John : )
A hymn I've not heard before, wonderfully sung. As mentioned, I love the way he doesn't try to overpower the choir, but, allows it to enhance the entire song. Thanks, as always, for posting more of this great singer.
Paola
Beautiful. Learnt it in school.
Divine .
Wonderful idea, to post this song in Honor of Our Lady the Blessed Virgin Mary, during Her Month of May. Thank you and God bless you!
