I'm a truck driver and an It Professional of 10 years and since Ive used literally about every flagship in the last 15 years, This LG stylo3 was one of my daily drivers last year until the earlier part of the year. I totally fell in love with the fit and finish and the functionality was definitely on par with some of the previous flagships of the past. not too distant. Its definitely one of the best mid range phones I have used and feature packed. Lots of LG devices are Overlooked and Under appreciated. I had an Iphone 6s plus for a while as well and it out performed that one in many areas not all. But battery life is superior to many and some flagships too. Love this phone great secondary phone for some of us that carry two or more.
I'm so happy I went with the LG instead of the Samsung Note. The Note is a better made phone of course but the difference in the price makes the LG a fantastic bargain. The Stylo is a wonderful big screen phone. I have the Stylo 2 also and was very happy with that phone so I stuck with LG and got the new model. Before my 1st Stylo I used to always have to have the expensive flag ship phone but that probably won't ever happen again. Just can't see paying so much for a phone when there are quality phones out there for less than $200.00. When I bought the Stylo 2 and switched to Cricket a couple years ago I bought the phone on sale at 149.00. Cricket gave me a rebate of 50.00 and a gift card for another $100.00 transferring my number over. The phone ended up being free, surely beats paying $600-$800.
Grant S What do you mean it doesn't make business sense? If LG came out with a 6.3 high end version of the Stylo with their high end Oled tech and sliding battery drawer? (While undercutting Samsung on price) It would be extremely disruptive and I for one would be all over it like white on rice. I've already passed up the Note 8 for the Stylo 3 plus because of the retarded price of the Note.

I am happy with it, no way will this chica we ever pay $400-$800 for a phone when there are shoes and purses to buy! 😀
I am on Metro and was first in my neighborhood to get this phone since it just went on sale on the first of June. I had to go to a TMo store to grab a case same day actually since they've had the phone for a month. this phone is a big step up from my Stylo2 plus. I'm happy so far!
Metro has it for $179 promo for new activations or upgrades right now. If you're switching from a contract/postpaid to Metro you should be able to port the number, but I'm not sure.
I just upgraded from a Note 4 (modded for Android 6.0) to the Stylo 3 on Cricket and I love it. Being an avid Samsung user I'm kinda disappointed with some small differences in customization & bloatware. I'm definitely satisfied with the size, weight and fast processing. $216 (total) well spent.

LG makes great phone. I had the first stylo and I really liked it. Had the second generation and I liked it too now I'm really looking into getting the third generation. On my personal opinion LG makes great phones. There's no reason to spend all the extra unnecessary $
The majority of us just use it for regular day to day things like calls and texts and Facebook and instagram. If wanted to play high quality intensive games just buy a gaming console. But for daily use these phones are more than enough. That's my personal opinion.
Great video boss, its a good phone, not bright though, the Moto E4 Plus is much brighter, i do like the whites on this...but my gosh this phone is slippery.

Tony Pazo problem with SD cards is that they don't let sometimes pass on apps into it just additional data that's it the only thing that they good for is photos and videos and I don't take much of them so yeah

Hey, know it's late, but just wanted to share my experiences. Also curious to know what decision you made. I went with the Samsung J3 for a year and a half and loved everything about it, except for the fact that it only had 1 gb of ram that contributed to it lagging out. few weeks ago accidentally broke my phone so I went with the Stylo 3 for 129 bucks. The screen on the samsung J3 and J7 are AMOLED which provide for a better viewing experience, but the stylo 3 screen is pretty good for the price. I have a child who uses my phone as well, so getting a case for both my stylo and the J3 was definitely a good buy. Got one from amazon.com for 8 bucks with a glass screen protector. Only thing that holds me back from LG every single time is their bootloop problem. I know it has supposedly been fixed in their newer phones, but my previous experiences with them have definitely left a bad impression. Seems like a good phone tho 👍
Yo Tony, I have simple mobile, you think if i buy a stylo 3plus from tmobile it would work with a simple mobile sim? I did that with an iphone before and it worked well.
I agree it is one of the few phones that would compete with the note line but that being said why wouldn't they put a better processor in it even if they kept it as a midline and put like a Snapdragon 801 or an 820. It would be an amazing phone and give it 3 to 4 gigabytes of RAM the rest of the phone is good they can make it a mid-tier instead of a bottom-tier and charge 250 to $300 you would then see a lot more people adopt the LG Stylo they could even called the LG Stylo Premier and give it a 5.7 inch screen or bezel-less 6.0
I got the zte being cheap. I hate this phone. It lags alot and is very slow. I had the stylo 2 before this. I will be going to stylo 3 in a couple of weeks.
I'm really torn between this phone and the J7 Prime, both are available at MetroPCS. I have a Galaxy S5 right now, and my friend got the J3 for free from Sprint, I like how snappy that phone is, and I like the OS on it too. I've never tried an LG phone before.. so I'm nervous to make the switch.

phaze wilson The camera is alright, the screen is nice, very nice. Colors pop and everything looks clear and sharp. The battery life lasts me a while day. Right now I've been using it since 7 AM, and it's 3:09 and it's at 64%. I watched RUclips on it, installed some games, played the elder scrolls legends for a bit, and texted people. It's a powerhouse when it comes to battery.
Tony Pazo the speaker on the 3 plus is an improvement to me compared to the 2 plus. I just wished they go with a front speaker over the back. but the Stylo series has made me a fan once more of LG.

I have the lgk7 phone so this phone would be much better cause the lgk7 glitches a lot and its only 8gb but the phone takes up like 5 of it and its so annoying. my mom just got this phone and it seems really nice and is pretty fast. even though the camera on the stylo is the "greatest" it is definitely much better than the lgk7 camera. the lgk7 is really bad quality so I'm thinking about getting this since its only 225 dollars and the 32gb is definelty nice
Actually on the speed department the LG K7 I say it was a good phone it could lag from time to time the only cons I would give to the phone is the storage and the battery life the most annoying con been the memory I had to delete 3 apps in order to install one I don't have any issues about that with my LG stylo 3 plus it's fast snappy and has incredible battery life
I just go me a LeEco S3 on Best buy for $149.00 all aluminum, full HD screen 652 Snapdragon, 3 gigs of RAM , 32 gigs of storage... fast charging.. so yes.. for the money I got me a way better phone..

He contradicts himself, first says it's a competitor to the Note from Samsung, (which c'mon man no way it is) then secondly he says it can't compete with flag ships. So which is it! The note is a flag ship and are arguably Samsung best phone every year. But yet this is a competitor to it. No it's not. Just cause a phone has a stylus doesn't make it a competitor. Just saying. The reason it can't compare besides the obvious spec comparison is the note line up has the wacom digitizer built into the phone that sets it apart from all other phones. Just saying

Note 3 is superior in almost all specs but a couple which are bands and updates.

I have the lgk7 phone so this phone would be much better cause the lgk7 glitches a lot and its only 8gb but the phone takes up like 5 of it and its so annoying. my mom just got this phone and it seems really nice and is pretty fast. even though the camera on the stylo is the "greatest" it is definitely much better than the lgk7 camera. the lgk7 is really bad quality so I'm thinking about getting this since its only 225 dollars and the 32gb is definelty nice

Actually on the speed department the LG K7 I say it was a good phone it could lag from time to time the only cons I would give to the phone is the storage and the battery life the most annoying con been the memory I had to delete 3 apps in order to install one I don't have any issues about that with my LG stylo 3 plus it's fast snappy and has incredible battery life

also for $250 you can buy the LeEco Spro3 that has top of the line specks..250 wow..I'm getting that next.

how is the gps does it work,,,, because my lg g stylo 1 gps never worked other then that is a awesome fucken phone... but now that my dumbass took the case off, if finally broke 2 weeks ago and have been shopping around.......BUT I WANT AND NEED THE GPS TO WORK.... does anyonw know id the gps works turn for turn....... my cheapy 30 dollar lg leon was a awesome gps device... i use to turn my hotspot on just to use the gsp on the lg leon....

He contradicts himself, first says it's a competitor to the Note from Samsung, (which c'mon man no way it is) then secondly he says it can't compete with flag ships. So which is it! The note is a flag ship and are arguably Samsung best phone every year. But yet this is a competitor to it. No it's not. Just cause a phone has a stylus doesn't make it a competitor. Just saying. The reason it can't compare besides the obvious spec comparison is the note line up has the wacom digitizer built into the phone that sets it apart from all other phones. Just saying
I meant it competes because it has a stylus pen in that aspect but it's way to lower spec' d to compete with it in any other category as far as flagships got it!
