2:28 and 24:17: while discussing where tiles could be placed, Rahdo violates the rule that you must place a non-volcano tile where it is possible to access it (without waiting for more tiles to be placed).
Tokikosworld No, I checked the Mini-Tikal rules before posting; they don't have anything that overrides how any of the actions work. There's just the reduced limits of one camp and one temple guard (and only one intermediate scoring round).
Richard scored the 4 total points for the treasures, he just did it in 2 phases, first he scored the Jade mask for 1 point and the the other treasure of 2 tiles for 3 points, 1+3=4 He had 15 points prior to scoring and score 6 for the Temple and 4 for the treasures = 25 total VP's and that's the total amount he has on the board at the end of scoring
these videos are great, i was at my friends brewery one saturday with my young son, a few patrons were there playing this. the board piqued my son's interest and he won't stop asking for the game. i tell him it's probably too advanced for him at (not quite) 8 years old, but this abbreviated game might be just the thing! does the game come with the abbreviated instruction card you have? where did you get that?
When volcano hex came out, doesn't score round begins before Jen can play her normal 10 actions? It looks to me that you placed the volcano, Jen took 10 actions, but then in turn you took another 10 actions, besides the previous temple hex you placed +10 actions? Haven't play the game but was going to purchase it, but this was the confusing part, it the person who draw the volcano places it, perform actions, and everyone else perform the actions again? that doesn't look fair Thanks
George Lin You're right... when a volcano appears the game stops immediately and a scoring round is done and then the player resumes is turn... Can you tell me the timestamp when this happens? Thanks
Probably not relevant anymore, but Rahdo is actually right. Player who drew the volcano set the tile aside, play 10 actions and score, followed by everyone around the table(every player plays 10 and scores) then the player who drew the volcano place the tile and plays 10 more.. and the game continiues. :)

Notes added... thanks
21:00 When you use the Exchange Treasures action, you are not allowed to break up a pair or triplet.
Things might have changed in the Mini-Tikal rules though. This one might have. The volcano one not so much.

Gary Duke yup, i was just an idiot and forgot! paulo will add notes :)
note added... Thanks
With the new rules you have to have an explorer to set a camp.So your mistake wasn't a mistake.
thank god for pualo
[8:50] Rahdo awards himself 3 Victory Points for his treasures!! Wasn't it supposed to be four though?
