Wow I really love hearing these stories about all the greats...I grew up listening to everyone's records. My momma was 39 when she had me so I was listening to a wide range of music. Music from her time she was born 1927 then my siblings were born in the 40s. My nieces and nephews were born 59 and early 60s then I came along 66 so the music I grew up on was so vast and I loved it. I can't wait for part 3. God bless

Glad to hear Elvis was pondering his future Las Vegas triumph in 1956. I just read Linda Thompson gave her TLC necklace to her son she had with Bruce (currently Caitlyn) Jenner. Linda told Elvis in 1976 she would marry Bruce Jenner. She said Elvis said 'over my dead body.' Elvis was a wonderful individual with great ability to see the future either personally or professionally. Thanks again for your Elvis information. Happy 2020 to all good folks following Elvis information.

I believe the 'quartet' reference came from the the local reporter from the Memphis Press Scimitar, Bob Johnson who was there and whose photographer took the photo.
