That's all in his imagination because he is trapped alone. The place where he is going on a trip, is actually his miniature creation. He is virtually creating every character around him by himself to not feel lonely. The scene where they are watching northern lights or aurora, he was imagining them all, nothing happened in real life. At the end of the day he falls asleep and wakes up in his real world where he is alone with his pet (it's not Yeontan but a doppelganger named Rocky same name as your stone )in his apartment. I’m with you RJ. V’s tastes in music, his approach to his work, his authenticity are some of a main things that draw me to him. I didn’t have a bias for a while, not until I learned more about the members’ personalities and that’s when Tae came for me and never let go. Plus, his voice is my favorite probably in the entire music industry. His smooth and unique baritone just checks all the boxes. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s the most stunningly handsome person I’ve ever seen in my life 😅. He’s unapologetically himself while also being humble, kind and playful and I find it incredibly attractive. And his album is probably some of the most interesting work I’ve heard in a while! I just absolutely love it. It’s cohesive and tells a story. It’s moody and atmospheric, and each time I hear those songs I get something new, which doesn’t happen with the majority of pop songs. I love it that Tae stayed away from popcorn sound and gave us music that has substance and is timeless.
I find Tae's Layover videos really fascinating. I see them as a journey through his exploration of his own identity. Love Me Again starts us off with "performer" V and all the glamour of that lifestyle but he's isolated in a cave with his only window to himself being through a screen. Kind of like the fame is isolating and makes your world feel small. Next is Rainy Days, where two versions of him exist. The at home V hanging out with Yeontan (again alone and isolated) and artist V who is creating/manufacturing a version of himself (doll heads) but through his self portrait, he depicts himself as an alienesque figure. Kind of, "The world wants me to be or perceives me to be a manufactured, shiny doll (which in a way I contribute to by virtue of having to be a "perfect" idol), but I'm actually this one of a kind individual that doesn't fit that mould." He's now trying to create his own identity. With Slow Dancing, we get V, the innovator, who thinks outside the box. He's now trying to create the world he wants to live in filled with the people he wants to share it with. Those friends are part of him & helped shape him over the years (hence the polaroid of the friends that are all actually him). He can't separate himself from them. The MVs have a similar aesthetic which I think represents how he views the world - nostalgic and romantic. But it also feels melancholic and lonely at times. I feel like they are showing his very human experience trying to find himself & his place in the world during this period.

The thing with the constant dog references is just that Tae loves his dog very much hahaha, his name is Yeontan. And yeah, he's pretty much everywhere, all the time with V. Yeontan is also Tae's profile pic in Weverse hahaha, and he has been for a long time. I guess that with Tae having the liberty to work any concept he likes in his solo, he chose to give us a lot of Yeontan hahaha.
V is the most original and creative of all the BTS members....eventhough I love them all. His stuff is always a but different from the other guys. They all say he's different from the rest of them as well as being the most down to earth. 🎉

Personally Layover is my favourite solo BTS member project so far after Indigo. I'm a sucker for chill vibey songs and this album delivered just that. I initially preferred Slow Dancing Piano version but Flute eventually grew on me and now it's my fav. Second fav track is For Us
