I really enjoyed your video, thank you! Conversations about titans from the (literary) past are so helpful for me to slow down in a world that's often treating people like dimwitted dopamine addicts.

Isn't it sad that most of us can achive a level of mastery to at most 2 or 3 things?

I want to go to university but I am not sure to which one to go. I love philosophy, history and English and german literature and language, but it's so hard to choose one over the other. Even if I can go to 2 of them at the same time I still feel like it's not good enough.

Hi Cristina. That's a difficult decision to make, but it needs to be made. Which do you love the most, and why?

@UCpfvVj36P6Z9T_9COJONZUg I tbi k I love history the most because I get to learn about interesting time periods or civilisations, like the eastern roman empire or the modern era and it's ideologies. I have read some history books from authored in my country and reading them made me wanting to be a historian.

@cristinamanole7398 Well if you ask me, that is your answer. Many people take different views on what they should study. Some do it for money. Some do it for security. But I advise that you should follow what you love, and what really takes your interest, (which is your passion). Follow that.

You are just not being realistic about the time and effort it takes to do one thing properly. You speak as if you could actually do all of them at once if only someone gave you the chance. If you don’t make a choice that matches the resource available to you, you won’t get any of them or at least you won’t get a lot back from it. THAT wouldn’t be “good enough” I am sure. You are not choosing your entire existence you know. I have several educations and I have held more different jobs than I can count on two hands. I am closer to what I like today, which is nice, but everything I have done has made some contribution towards it, even the paths that might seem wrong now or then. Took me long enough to realise that anything that’s worth anything to anybody out there requires you to make choices and sacrifices that allow you to focus on developing one thing to it’s full potential.
