Why can't we just got to the person's profile and gift it to them? I swear Roblox makes things complicated for no reason. edit: I know that it's to prevent scams to a degree. But there are things they could do to prevent scams: -Your account has to be email or phone number verified. -You can't give Robux to a user unless you've been friends for 48 hours (like how it is with Fortnite's 24 hours). -Your account has to be over 13 to have the gifting option enabled so kids can still receive but they can't give. -A gifting switch in the settings will also be a safety net if an account was compromised because you can add a code/password to renable it. -To elaborate, parents can also switch it off (on over 13 accounts, too) and add a password to renable it. -There is a cap for how much you can give at once every 24 hours. Maybe 200. -The account you're gifting (both ways) has to have had their account for at least 7 days (sucks for those transferring Robux to their new accounts tho). -When giving Robux, there is a 60 second delay before the Robux is given to the other person. In this 60 second window, you can refund or undo the gift (I can see the duplication exploits now). Once the time is up, the Robux goes to ther users account and you can't refund. -(I don't like this suggestion but it feels like something Roblox devs would do) Make the option to give Robux Premium only. It encourages users to buy Premium ig. If a user is trying to transfer Robux from a hacked account: -There will be email or phone number verification (you better pray to god that the hacker doesn't have your email info) for giving Robux along with a CAPTCHA. If your gifting switch is off, they'll have to type the password to renable it. That'll at least give you time to get your account back. -That being said, you can't make your gifting switch password the same as your account password.
It’s because they’re selfish. They want you to spend more money on robux, and allowing people to gift robux would make it harder for them to make money.
