You should buy another pair of the exact same shoe and make the bows on the opposite side, so now you can mix and match them. That way you still have the trendy option of wearing one bow on the back and one on the front, or you can have two pairs of the exact same bow placement.
Orly - here's an idea: Amazon has these little metal clips called 'shoe clips'. Now, let's say that you'd actually rather make a bunch of different color or different fabric bows for the fronts of your shoes (like, you've got only one pair of strappy black shoes but you'd like to be able to change out the bows.). You can make the bows, bind the velvet ribbon around the joins and then hot glue them onto the clips and change out the bows on your shoes. Now, this is only going to work for a situation where you're making bows for both fronts of the shoes (I think putting clips on the backs would give you blisters on your heels, but it might be worth a try). You can have a whole wardrobe of fancy bows!
Could a clip be incorporated into this so the bow could be removed when you don't want to use it? I remember shoe clips from years ago and they were so fun!
Snaps work, too. Exchange the bow for another decoration to suit the occasion. When you want a simple look, make a covered button type snap for when you don't need to be fancy. Your shoes will have an accessories kit! It really saves space when travelling.
Yeeeeeeeeeeees. Horsehair comes in just about every colour you could want.....and widths. This diy right here........💯 The glue string..........😅🤣😂 Your projects......the best. Time to have your own diy show........🥰 🌹❤️🌹
Not quite, there are a lot of videos showing the time and fine detail into designing a Dior gown or embroidering a Chanel jacket. So the price will justify that, not everything is made in 5 mins in a sweatshop.
Whimsy done right! So true about the horse hair trim. It'll stand up to the wear and movement. AND...I want to compliment your skills in heels. Your walk is strong! Rock on! Looking forward to next week!
Stumbled across your channel and this video today & feel in love instantly. After a quick trip to the craft store guess who’s wedding heels are no longer plain and boring. Thankyou so much!!
This video was a godsend!! I really wanted the look of the Jimmy Choo shoes and was totally going to attempt making them...but I was planning on using tulle. You saved me soooooo much time and pain! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
I know it's a PITA, but, my favorite part is the end when you model, out in the world, thanks! Also, yes, I totally agree about the bow being in one area of both shoes for a more classic look. Keep on, keepin' on, Orly!
Girl I love love love this diy before I even finish watching the video just gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ I’m extra so I would put a bow on the front and back on both shoes
This is amazing! I've been looking for bows for my wedding shoes but they all seemed so pricey for what they are. Can't believe their so simple to make! Thank you!!!!
Came across your video quite by accident while looking for home DIY stuff. You look like you’re having fun making these items and truly enjoy sharing them with your audience. Keep it up cos you’ve got a new fan! Greetings from Singapore!
I absolutely love your channel I have been looking for a DIY channel that fits me. I have subscribed to you channel and clicked the ALL notification tab. I can't wait to learned and complete everything you have accomplished.
Love love love! Just sent this video to my daughter and told her we should do this for her bridal shoes. (I agree bows on front for that) but I do love the trendy-ness of one on each! 💖
Is there any way to make this DIY but with detachable bows? They're beautiful, but I don't think they would be practical all the time... plus it would be really cool if you were able to add them to a different pair of shoes (like the back of black booties)
That was a great one! Good job girl. I tried to DIY these for my sister a while ago but with the mesh flower bouquet things..Didn't work bcuz it was too soft. I'm gonna try it with horse hair! Thanks!
I made my own spin on these thanks to this video... I say spin only because I couldn't find the horse hair so I ended up making it with the what 3 inch wired black ribbon and I continued the ribbon around the ankle strap so my ankle was Wrapped in ribbon and tied into a big bow in the back at the ankle...thanks so much they really did complete my anniversary outfit ❤

Frances Vicioso omg I just thought of that too :D
I’m probably going to do it that way because otherwise I couldn’t decide which one to do 😅
That’s a great idea, shoes like these are inexpensive and sold nearly everywhere 💯
omg that's genius!!!!!!
Great Idea!
Yes you are right
“But they’re really, really expensive. And that’s where I come in.”

Cool
Also, clip on earrings work like shoe clips too! Just wanted to throw that out there, hehehehe
I used to sell these and did a similar video a few months ago ruclips.net/video/eTDoRStaSKw/видео.html
😎
Could a clip be incorporated into this so the bow could be removed when you don't want to use it? I remember shoe clips from years ago and they were so fun!
That's what I was thinking too. I think she had a video on that. Or was it shoe bows with elastic?🤔
Velcro

yes the ones I did had elastic. You could probably do clips just make sure that there's something soft on the back side so it doesn't hurt your foot
Great idea, I used to make and sell shoe clips
Literally as soon as I get a notification for your new video, I immediately click it even if I was in the middle of a different. Obsessed!
that makes me so happy!
The DIY Designer You’ve actually inspired me to try again at making a piece from scratch and also repurpose things I already own. You’re the best.
Doing this for my wedding- in white obviously!

Shows me again, that every luxury brand is just selling their name, not their product and workers.
xs_ fox someone had to design that shoe. You are paying for the quality and creativity that comes with the name
Always been that way and people are dumb enough to fall for it lol Jordans sneakers $300 dollars and costs in China $5 to make 😂😂
