    Nice vid, surprised you don’t have more views and subs. I got a few questions for you. So, I currently own a BRZ, approaching 90,000m and 4 years next month and I’ve had my eye on the wrx hatches. Since you’ve owned both how does the brz compare to the wrx in terms of reliability, (has anything broken on either car?), power (does the wrx actually feel faster and if so is it a huge difference?), handling (obvious the wrx is bigger and heavier and awd but it is it still nearly as good in the corners as the brz?) Thanks. Love your cars

      Thanks man! In terms of reliability both cars have done very well. I've owned the brz for almost 7 years and put 78k miles on it and it has been solid. Even after supercharging the car its been basic maintenance to keep her running strong. The wrx I've owned for a year and a half and put on 16k miles. Alot less time owned but again so far its been a solid car (currently has 44k on it) Power stock for stock the wrx is gonna feel like the much faster car once the wrx hits full boost it pulls that power straight to redline unlike the new wrxs that fall off at the top. You know how a stock brz feels but supercharged the brz would probably take the wrx even on only 8psi of boost. Handling the wrx does ok. Its alittle heavier, has a bit more body roll, and more prone to understeer. Some suspension upgrades would definitely make the car better but in comparison the brz feels like a go kart up against the wrx. Hopefully this helps you out, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. Thanks again for watching the videos!

    Loved my 2012 limited white hatch. I only got rid of it because 2nd kid was on the way and it just wasn’t going to work with 2 car seats and me being 6ft. I made the decision to trade it in (2019 RDX Aspec) once the engine started randomly bogging down in 2nd gear, rather than spend a chunk of money to fix it. Like the RDX a lot but nothing compares to that WRX.

    Funny, I’m currently pursuing a 2012 wrx Impreza hatch, but the brz was definitely my dream car... just practicality wise, I like to drop my friends off, kinda hard in those back bucket seats in that brz... the hatch just seems like a bit of that fun ALL IN A PRACTICAL FORM.

    • @NickGT
      @NickGT  3 года назад

      I definitely have way more fun in the brz but at a practicality stand point the wrx hatch is hard to beat

    Love the car bro! I have a 2013 WRX hatchback myself, I used to own a turbocharged 2015 BRZ as well..I don’t know how I feel about practicality. These EJ engines are finicky lol

    I own a 2012, and when new, I saw them everywhere, everyday. Now I might see another once a month. The resale value will drop a little more, but then start to rise again. This is the perfect time to buy one and keep. Beware, the interior squeaks, creaks, and rattles like a 1980's Ford Escort. Also the 7.5k mile recommended oil change interval is a lie, and will burn up your engine (Ask me how I know). It drinks oil, so no more than 5k miles between oil changes.

    • @yammmit
      @yammmit 2 года назад +1

      Oh it absolutely squeaks and rattles. I have a rattle that sounds like it’s literally inside my dashboard and I’ve just kinda given up at this point trying to find a way to fix it

    • @NickGT
      @NickGT  3 года назад

      They were a dealer add on you could put on the car, mostly came on the higher trim level cars. Part number for them is E7710FG030 if you are interested in picking them up for your vehicle.

    • @NickGT
      @NickGT  3 года назад

      I bought it from a private seller in 2019. Its a limited and had 28k miles on it when I bought it for $22k. The used car market right now it nuts so you might have a hard time getting a good deal on one of these but if you look they are out there

      It sounds like that with the factory upgraded catback. Pro tip though, if you ever want it louder (and you probably will) do not get the subaru factory "spt" exhaust because it will severely limit your options as far as what aftermarket catbacks will fit on the car.
