That is right around 40 yards of cording needed for this project. I don't know if you need to add more for the other cord she adds to the straps, though. So, get extra, just in case! This made me feel like it would come off my shoulder. I tied knots at the end of handle on both sides very tight to hopefully prevent this. Thank you I love!

The design of the straps is flawed. If you carry anything with weight, like a full water bottle, the two ends will come apart even though it is wrapped. Beautiful pattern but faulty straps.

@@mwellifluous. thats very strange. if you square knot ever 4 cords you shouldnt hav 2 left over. maybe undo and start again?
If u worry about they coming apart,maybe u can use cotton.It has greater friction.
