That's awesome. Can you tell me how can I learn to operate this model of ABB robot arm? I have one in my university and I want to learn how to control it so bad. Thank you in advance.
Hey, sorry for the very delayed response...RUclips's comment notifications leave something to be desired! To answer your question, I suppose there are a couple of avenues that will depend on where you're located and if you're a student or a professor. ABB offers a Smart Certification program that your university can sign up for (if they aren't already) which allows students enrolled in particular courses to learn and become certified. ABB also offers their own course curriculum either online or in person at certain facilities of theirs. Finally, we at MASEAS can offer our own individualized training and our rates are generally more competitive. You can reach out to us through our contact information at www.maseas.com/contact/empire and we can help give you a more specific path if you're still looking for information. The IRB 120 in the video is on the IRC5 controller platform, so whatever avenue of training you seek will need to be specific to IRC5. ABB's newest robots are on the OmniCore controller which in some cases can require different training.
