I have the exact same incubator, you're supposed to remove the rotation tray at day 17/18, read the instruction and do your research
Ya that’s what I was gon say
Do you know where to get the instructions? I borrowed this from a friend to use in my classroom. Thought I would try it at home first so that my students would get the best experience but there is no manual and my friend can't find it. can you help me?? Thanks!!!
Ok, so this is a learning process for you. You obviously care and are trying. When you are collecting eggs, you can keep them aside for a few days until you have the number you want. Then, put all in at the same time. Chickens take 21 days to hatch and they lay 3 days is called “lockdown.” You can take the Turner out at the end of day 18. They can stay in the incubator for 2-3 days Asher hatching to allow others to hatch. They can do this because they can live in the remaining shell contents. It’s also vital to candle the eggs earlier than that to make sure they are all fertile. Doing this will prevent keeping them in too long and waiting for a hatch.
Take the egg seperator tray out
Why ?
Take the rack out before they hatch
I did but some eggs have to turn so I just might have to do it manually
If you don't take the rack out the baby's feet get caught in it you need to take it out on the 18th day
I have quails, How do I raise them in those?
read the instructions.....the center ring comes out
You take the egg turner out it just lifts up
Great review and thank you for your honesty. Those chicks were ready to remove and it's better to remove the live ones that are healthy than take a chance and lose all of them.
You are so right and thanks for watching
Thank You for the good & important information.
You’re very welcome and thanks for watching
do a dry hatch. occassionally add lemon juice water just a tad bit. like two tablespoons. my reason for this is the eggs might have diseases from the feces on them. and you cant wash them. i also like to add vinagar and isopropl alcahol and just a tad and then let it air out itll sanitize the eggs but if you add too much itll make the eggs peel off. add enough and itll sanitize the eggs and keep your hatchings Healthy! i also leave the tube attachment on with a coffee filter and rubber band on one side
I can’t get mine to turn ?
Like it won’t turn when I get it down and the lid on n shit but it’ll turn when it’s not closed but when it’s closed n set up it won’t turn ?
I had to hand turn mine for a few weeks but then when it got close to the last couple of weeks it started turning on it’s on. I thought it was a button on there that makes it turn but it’s not. Also I did realized it turns more at night than the afternoon
The same thing is currently happening to mine and it’s annoying as fuck. I have to take time out of my day and rotate the eggs because it’s like if the rotating thingy is Jammed.
Day 18 take the tray out tgen you should be good
He forgot to take the turning tray out on day 18! No you can still open and remove the tray if that happens. Yes I have this incubator and I found it to tight.. But if they be under a hen it be the same thing!
Take the lid off and take the rotator out
I use mine to do 10 eggs allll the time. Take the rotator out at end of day 18 put eggs back in incubator. Take shells out as they hatch. Take chicks out at 24 hrs after hatch and move to brooder. Simple a breezy. THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE INCUBATOR. JUST KEEP AN EYE ON THE WATER. 8/10 it only does 10 at a time.
I bought a 48 egg incubator this year, but I still use this one at the same time.
Good Luck and HAVE FUN!
Did u do dry hatch or u added water?
I added water to mine
How often did u add water?
@@getthebenji8462 it pretty much stayed filled
Why didn’t you remove that turning part on day 14 as you should have?!?!?!?!
Some eggs not on day 14 and it was programmed to rotate at a certain time
Does it work for pigeons ?
It should work for pigeons. Just set it at the appropriate temperature
If you don't want it to spin just take the chicks out
Great review!
Thank you 😊
