Every song he sang either lived it, if not he put his heart and soul in it, for he was the ultimate professional of his craft, Unlike this new breed who portray themselves as country singers, his music will live on for decades others are forgotton at th end of the day.

Well folks, the sound of my childhood, the man who my grandpa and I wore out 3 cassette tapes on roadtrips when I was young, the man who just last night I was listening to while drinking a beer, the Possum, the King of Country, George Jones died. The man lived harder and longer than all of his peers. This man exemplified country music. I got to see him live just a few years ago and he could still put on a show. The Golden Voice of Country.

Hard to believe as talented as performer he was he would rather hide out in a Holiday Inn, Eat KFC and drink Evan William's than preform.

There is an episode about George and Tammy.
