Once a cop asked me to pay fine for my aftermarket yoshimura exhaust, I asked him to show me the noise level from decibel meter but he told me that his ears are more accurate than a meter, and the noise once checked was well below the max levels. And I have read somewhere that the decibel check must be done only in the idle condition. Thanks for the info Vikas bhai!

Also there are other ways of Impacting the environment in a positive way. Not wasting electricity which mostly comes from burning coal in India, saving water at every possible opportunity ...etc. I dont support after market exhaust though....
First pollute the environment then talking about planting plants not tree what a foolish idea ...
We have to plant trees, but govt is also responsible for it because govt is selling more and more vehicles and expensive petrol with high tax on the name of pollution but not spending a single ruppee to reduce pollution by planting trees and small forests for people, and not proving any good public transport, govt needs only money to fill their pockets

A slip on(just the end can) generally dosent remove the cat. Depending on the bike, the cat is usually located in the link pipe or in the header pipes after the collectors.
Some years ago as I was riding at my neighborhood, there was an old woman walking in the middle of the road very slowly and just to warn, I honked. That moment I saw her shiver and her body shake becos of the sound. Till date that sight reminds me not to create any unnecessary noise that could irritate others. We have trees in our street and I have planted few of them around our house too.. But that can never nullify that irritation caused.

True bro that's is what was happening in Bangalore, and now the cops are behind the bullets, the bullets here sounds really more which you cannot listen to when it's passing by you. And recently the cops have cought many bullets fort their illegal exhaust pipes and loud horns...

Real Indian Hi Bro, It's better to keep the stock exhaust because of few reasons.
First is cops, they are waiting for the chance to grab the bikers and second is you will not get very much impressive sound in a single cylindered engine bikes and it will be very loud too, third thing is you can modify your stock exhaust by removing the catalytic converter and make it as a free flow exhaust what i have done on my bike but it's very loud, soon I'm also going to change it stock exhaust.. 🙂👍
