@@Pokemonmaster150b is NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California different channels? The A's one says California and the Giants one says Bay Area, but they're both in the Bay area?
@@Monaghan Different Channels, but roughly the same area Bay Area covers the Warriors, Giants, and Earthquakes California covers the A's, Sharks, and Kings I think Bay Area targets the Bay Area proper while California targets NorCal in general. However, both of them are accessible in The Bay so tbh it doesn't really matter that much.
@Pokemonmaster150b thanks for the info. Hopefully Dallas Braden stays with the A's broadcast booth in Sacramento. Honestly, the A's staying in Sac with Vegas falling apart is best case scenario at this stage.
I think the company that inherited what is now Bally Sports didn’t want to rock the boat as far as the affiliate names that they inherited from Fox Sports Net. Bally Sports North is the successor to FSN North, etc.
I'm a Yankee fan but I used to watch a lot of those Spectrum Dodger games growing up, so that one is pretty nostalgic to me. However, 'm happy to say that the Yankees one is the best
Okay everyone, it's been two years but here is the official review. No other reviews matter. Theme music: 1: Bally. No one else comes close to the energy of Fox Sports. 2. (Rogers) SportsNet. Absolutely majestic. 3. YES. The theme itself? Good but not great. Bob Sheppard introducing it? Legendary. 4. NESN. This theme wouldn't have worked for anyone but the Red Sox, the classical cues lean right into Fenway and its mystique. 5. NBCSN. Though it's hard to tell from this compilation, as the meat of the theme doesn't really kick in until the announcer VO starts. 6. ATTSN. I'm sorry, I thought I was watching some baseball, not the local news from market 80. 7. SNY. The waving flag sounds is shades of pre-DirecTV Root Sports, everything else is like a dollar-store SportsCenter. 8. Spectrum Sports. I thought I was watching the CBS game of the week in the early 90s, not a 2020s cable broadcast. 9. Marquee. You share ownership and a control hub with Diamond/Bally, and this is what you came up with? 10. MASN. F for effort. Graphic intros: 1. SportsNet. This thing is movie trailer quality. 2. YES. [expletive] the Yankees, but this is one cool intro. 3. NESN. A little Matrix-y, but still very cool. 4. NBCSN. The color keying and team-themed paraphernalia is nice, again shades of the old Root Sports. Points deducted for the gratuitous Xfinity branding. 5. ATTSN. These aren't either bad or good, just a big nothing burger. 6. Bally. The second halves look cool but are basically just an intro for the cluster and not the team. The first halves are way too inconsistent, some are bangers like the Twins and others like the Rays are just terrible. 7. Marquee. I mean the namesake marquees are a little on the nose but I still like them. 8. Spectrum Sports. Would it hurt to like, try? 9. SNY. Somehow this looks more dated than the theme music sounds. 10. MASN. I can't even give you a solid F for these travesties. F minus. This ends the official rankings.

NBC Sports making awesome intros
So glad that the Giants are on NBC Sports Bay Area

The New York teams, NBC Sports teams and the Blue Jays have the best opens from the ones shown here.
Red Sox, Mets, Yanks, Jays and the NBC Sports ones.
The Oakland A's one is my fav.
Bally sports just loves having a general regional network like “north” and then be like “wisconsin has it’s own network”
Same with Socal and SD, etc
I think the company that inherited what is now Bally Sports didn’t want to rock the boat as far as the affiliate names that they inherited from Fox Sports Net. Bally Sports North is the successor to FSN North, etc.
SNY will always be undefeated. With the theme and the booth.
Bally has a lot of hearts... I hate the Yankees but that intro is fire.
Bally says the heart of basically every time and it gets annoying even though the intro is kinda cool
Im just say that nbc has the best intro
Sportsnet Toronto is the best
YES SOX FAN HERE
The Root Sports / AT&T Sportsnet intros are my favorite.
NBC has it the best. They actually try with their graphics and they also match the teams colors too. Bally Sports just copied and pasted their intro.
YES
As a Giants fan, I'm glad that we have NBC as our RSN.
My Mets may suck all the time, but we are definitely the kings of baseball themes 🔥
Great intros 🤩can you do nba wnba nfl cfl nhl Nll lacrosse and mls please ❤
Red Sox and Mets ones are amazing
I like the cubs intro the music is just good

Fitting that you commented this while the Yankees are playing the Dodgers.
Outro music = 🤌👌
YES has had the same theme for years but why fix what's not broken
Me, a person that lives in the northeastern United States where Bally Sports is basically nonexistent:
“…what the heck is Bally Sports?”
We are fox sports, we are St. Louis!

ITS TIME FOR BASEBALL AS THE YES NETWORK PRESENTS NEW YORK YANKEES BASEBALL

Toronto's theme is good, but nothing beats the Yankees.
Torontos is the best I am sorry but it’s too good
I agree, even across the border in Detroit
