I last visited Hong Kong many years ago, watching this video brought back lots of good memories. Apart from amazing foods, everything else about HK are just unique. Thanks !
I was fortunate to be able to visit Hong Kong for a couple of days during my trip to Taiwan. Flew with Hong Kong Airlines and I fell in love with this city. There is one thing I learned in Asia is that I cannot get enough of visiting all the beautiful temples, thank you so much for taking us to this one. Great to see your parents again and your family + the food looked great!
Hong Kong has a lot of interesting places to visit! If you get a chance to go again, we recommend going to visit the outlying islands like Cheung Chau or go to the beach town of Shek O 😊 Those are some of our favourites to avoid the crowds haha
What a splendid walkabout with you both in HK...truly amazing and interesting. Love that temple...yeah, the scent from those spiral incenses would be the highlight. Teresa Teng was my favourite singer too....love all her songs. Your mom must be very happy as she got to celebrate her birthday with the whole family. Here's me wishing her a belated happy and blessed birthday. Well, another great video, thanks a bunch for sharing, floraandnote. Have a wonderful weekend.
Loved your video.Hong Kong is indeed a place where everyone should go at least once in their lifetime. That little antique shop was quite a find with so much nostalgia ..and that temple that you always passed by but never went is so beautiful. That tram is the best way to see the city for sure. That Filipino Sunday rest day is something to see I saw it once when I was there and it’s like one big picnic party on the street and inside open area..Great way to end the video with family and good food..Aloha.
Enjoyed this very much. Love Hong-kong and love to go there again soon. Got so busy and was unable to watch any of your latest vloggs. So happy to see you All with family. Love it and Love you
@FloraandNote was waiting to see your Family. Will watch the ones I missed tonight. Love you. Always enjoy Your Vloggs. The Best Couple and Vloggs. Thank you
Funny, I visit the Man Mo temple yesterday (no photo inside 😉). Tomorrow I will try Select 18 - it looks like a shop worth visiting. Hong Kong is fantastic with all the hidden gems !!
It’s a pretty neat shop and there’s a very local cafe near it that looked good too, called Wah Lok Cafe. Actually you are allowed to take photos inside Man Mo Temple, just no flash 😁
Hong Kong!!! Other than Singapore, where I was born and bred, this is my next favourite city. So many true friends and never get bored visiting this beautiful city!!!
OMG I love HK! Growing up, i used to watch a lot of Hong Kong dramas with my grandpa. So in some ways, it feels nostalgic watching this video. The food there looks amazing. I hope i get to visit it someday.
Awww I love Hong Kong! Need to make time to go back... Tell Logan he has a new subscriber bless him he is very cute... p.s. so true about seating arrangement I'm the youngest of 5 so I get it when we used to go out to restaurants... Happy and safe travels to you both! Thanks Guys! xx
11:04 Coffee prices on Samui have me spoiled. 45 HKD is 200 baht! I'm still debating if on my first visit to Hong Kong if I should stay on Hong Kong Island or Kowloon. It seems like Kowloon is what people consider the authentic Hong Kong experience.
Chiang Mai coffee prices have us spoiled right now - 40 Baht 😄 I think Kowloon side is a bit more economical but regardless it's so easy to travel back and forth.
The Horlicks/Ovaltine conversation made me laugh as in the UK they have always had a reputation as being drunk mostly by older people and always drunk just before bed to help you relax and sleep. You would never find it on a menu here.
The policy of introducing domestic helper really boosted the economic growth of Hong Kong at that time. With them,it releases alot of work force (the parents, many of them are educated/skillful). This is also one if the reasons why female in Hong Kong might have a higher social recognition when compared with some other asia regions at that time coz they are also tge bread winner of a family.
Chow Yung Fat is a great Hong Kong legendary actor I grew up watching his films in the 80`s, 90's and 2000's. Flora and Note so glad you both went back to Hong Kong for another great series. Hope you both do a Tokyo part 2 series again in the future.
Nice tour of the city! Your watches were featured quite a bit in this video, yay. Interesting to learn that Note's watch was a gift from Flora 10 years ago. What's the story behind Flora's CasiOak? I'm hoping you'll do a longer segment about your watches one day, maybe On the Road podcast! Please and thank you! 😄
Thank you! I actually have no idea where my bag is from because my sister gave it to me. A lot of my clothes, make up and accessories are given to me by my Mom and sister - my personal shoppers since I was young 😂
Hi Flora, what is the name of the antique shop you went in selling all the cassettes and toys? Would love to visit this shop next time I am in Sheung Wan. Love your videos! Thank you !
i visited HONG KONG like 10 years ago...........best food ..best ppl....polite.....very clean .....but pricey...lol........HONG KONG Is the best.....hong kong ppl is the best...........didnt know that Hk is ur home coutry.........i wish u will do a VLOG speaking just Cantonese..............hehe..........Advice.......anyone want to go HONG KONG eat drink and stay make sure u bring lots of money.........LOL
The portion in this Peking restaurant is so small I don't think is enough for 8 people Hong Kong is so expensive now inflation so many Hong Konger go to shenzhen to dine and shopping.
Thanks for showing me Hong Kong. I used to visit once a year. Loved the vibe, culture. Stopped when “I could feel things changed”. Am sure it still has its flavor…just probably too different from what I enjoyed and was familiar with.
11:26 why do you call them expats? Aren't they migrants? Or maybe you feel white people are too superior to be referred to as expats. No one calls Filipinos or south east Asians in HK expats.

Even though we've spent a decent amount of time in Hong Kong before, there is still so much to see inside and outside of the city 😊
Enjoyed this very much. Love Hong-kong and love to go there again soon. Got so busy and was unable to watch any of your latest vloggs. So happy to see you All with family. Love it and Love you

@FloraandNote Ohh !! flash, not a photo sign 😆 - then I'm going to the temple again. Pretty close to the Select-shop....

OMG I love HK! Growing up, i used to watch a lot of Hong Kong dramas with my grandpa. So in some ways, it feels nostalgic watching this video. The food there looks amazing. I hope i get to visit it someday.
I have to say... the old TVB dramas were much better and more fun to watch 😂
Awww I love Hong Kong! Need to make time to go back... Tell Logan he has a new subscriber bless him he is very cute... p.s. so true about seating arrangement I'm the youngest of 5 so I get it when we used to go out to restaurants... Happy and safe travels to you both! Thanks Guys! xx

I loved Peking garden’s chicken soup noodle when I was kid! Now I am gonna visit the restaurant again next time I go back to hk!
The Horlicks/Ovaltine conversation made me laugh as in the UK they have always had a reputation as being drunk mostly by older people and always drunk just before bed to help you relax and sleep. You would never find it on a menu here.
That's interesting! That sounds like my kind of evening drink 😂

Hk is always filled with chaotic fun and delicious food each time I visit 😊

He’s a great man. Meet him all the times on the trails. Lovely guy always ready to selfie with the adoring HKers who love his attitude to life.
Awesome tour
welcome to HK!!

Oh ya, Horlicks n Ovaltine is my childhood drink but now we drink more of Milo..my mum still likes the 2 former drinks. 😄
I like it's Ovaltine, Horlicks and then Milo for me 😂

I'm trying to look for you guys, after I watched your GZ trip I know you’re coming to HK. I'm always in city plaza why I did not see you there 😅
The mall is too big 😂
Horlicks is good 👍. They used to make Horlicks tablets candy. So good. Next time in London , I'll have to find some.
I love those milk tablets! I totally forgot about them until you mentioned it 😂

We love & visited Hong Kong Macau every two years but now foods & Hotel prices are getting too exorbitant
We feel you! We're lucky to be staying at home with my parents or else HK would have been a very short stay for us 😅
"What does it taste like?" "Ovaltine"😂
Haha he's obviously not a regular drinker 😂
That sheung wan cooked food center entrance looks like a court entrance. Maybe I watched too much TVB
The lawyer dramas from the 90s were classic 😂
Nice
❤
发哥 👍
11:26 why do you call them expats? Aren't they migrants? Or maybe you feel white people are too superior to be referred to as expats. No one calls Filipinos or south east Asians in HK expats.
