When does MENOPAUSE Start?

    These are all common questions I get asked about menopause! By definition, if you do have not had a period for 12 consecutive months, you are menopausal! That means, if you've had NO period for 11 months, and then it finally comes back around, we have to restart the count.
    But what if your periods are not consistent anyways? There are labs we can run to help clue us in, and looking at our family history is also an important piece of the puzzle! Let's dive into common menopause symptoms and ways we can determine if you are actually in menopause.
