I play a game called “Grounded” which is just like honey I shrunk the kids, and there’s a black ox beetle that looks just like that one

The one you found is female. The males have much larger horns.

@@lextalionis-u2v thanks for the info! While we come across the larvae all the time in our compost and worms beds this was the first adult found.
