It’s so cool just seeing you and Mark talk about the old days and what you guys are up to now, It was nostalgic to me because I’ve been a Chimaira fan since I heard “Army of Me” on the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack from 2003 at the age of 12 and I’m 30 now. The second that verse riff exploded on that song I was hooked and had to research the band even further and picked up “The Impossibility of Reason” shorty after with allowance money. You guys were and still are some of my biggest inspirations as a Guitarist and Musician. I’ve been on board the Chimaira train for almost 18 years now and I don’t plan on getting off my friend.

At 32:07, it didn't start as a meme stock. I think how it started was those stocks were found to be artificially suppressed by hedge funds. They would buy more stock than was available while shorting it. The hedge funds would makes millions and the stock price would stay low. So when GameStop started to surge. It was impossible for the orders to be filled because there wasn't enough actual stock available to be bought. So the shorts wouldn't get filled, the hedge funds lost all that money and the stock price soared. I wonder how many companies have gone under or were liquidated because of this practice

Who said life isn't good even with pandemic BS going?. Was listening and seeing this while i was watch the rain fall, so chilling. Friendship is strong here, same with other videos you have shared on this channel and we the fans totally appreciate this.
Mark is without a doubt my favorite vocalist in metal, and you my favorite guitar player. I actually have a demo of 2 songs on another channel. track 1 being completely inspired by the infection but with different style vocals by my good friend Shannon Guthrie, track two I did vocals on but with different style of music and I tried my best to do a Mark Hunter style of scream. Coolest thing in the world for me would be to have you two give them a listen and let me know what you think! Not gonna push it though cause I'm sure you are both busy individuals.
That was so cool Rob. Really nice to see Mark looking healthy and to know that things are good with him. Some nice stories about the old days. And yes you was right that Mark's guitar really did need a string change and a good clean up. Which you did really well. That guitar is a beauty and a work horse. I'm glad that Mark hasn't sold it. Now after watching this video most people are gonna start talking about either you both getting reunion back together or maybe some new songs with it just being you both. As I've seen on Facebook the reunion I'd like to see is Chimaira coming back. That I and many others would love to see that happen and just maybe it will happen sometime in the near future. So just to finish Rob. This was the best EYL I've seen and I hope that you and Mark hook up again and do another. So many thanks for this and you take care of yourself.

One part that I actually cut out of the video during the editing process (for various reasons), was Mark and I talking about how bands like Mudvayne, Rage Against the Machine, and more, probably talked for YEARS before coming together to make a reunion happen. It took us years to get together for our reunion show in 2017. And that was the catalyst. But then, as we all know and have heard, covid put the brakes on our momentum. Immediately when you switched to the floyd esp I thought about if you are a all-in-one or a one-by-one restringer and then I tought about, what you would put behind the saddle to hold it up before taking off all strings, I always used a battery but have never seen a toothbrush being used for it, but that is actually perfect. You can clean the whole fretboard with it and it is flexible to not damage the wood, genius, it is the little stuff!
Yeah man! The toothbrush is perfect for all the reasons you mentioned! And I'm actually a one string at a time type of guy, UNLESS I'm doing a full cleanup on a guitar like I did with this one. Check out some of my guitar maintenance videos to see more about my methods if you're interested! Cheers!

How do you build up speed/strength/stamina on your down picking? When writing riffs, how do you tune in your 'this is a good riff/this is s#it/let's see what the guys think' filter-i've always dismissed *everything* I've written! Marks lyrics; some of his stuff (The Flame!) Is pretty out there-did you ever have to say 'too much'? Will you ever to a play through of 'The Heart Of It All'-i think it ticks a lot of fun boxes!!! At 32:07, it didn't start as a meme stock. I think how it started was those stocks were found to be artificially suppressed by hedge funds. They would buy more stock than was available while shorting it. The hedge funds would makes millions and the stock price would stay low. So when GameStop started to surge. It was impossible for the orders to be filled because there wasn't enough actual stock available to be bought. So the shorts wouldn't get filled, the hedge funds lost all that money and the stock price soared. I wonder how many companies have gone under or were liquidated because of this practice

Mark is without a doubt my favorite vocalist in metal, and you my favorite guitar player. I actually have a demo of 2 songs on another channel. track 1 being completely inspired by the infection but with different style vocals by my good friend Shannon Guthrie, track two I did vocals on but with different style of music and I tried my best to do a Mark Hunter style of scream. Coolest thing in the world for me would be to have you two give them a listen and let me know what you think! Not gonna push it though cause I'm sure you are both busy individuals.

That was so cool Rob. Really nice to see Mark looking healthy and to know that things are good with him. Some nice stories about the old days. And yes you was right that Mark's guitar really did need a string change and a good clean up. Which you did really well. That guitar is a beauty and a work horse. I'm glad that Mark hasn't sold it. Now after watching this video most people are gonna start talking about either you both getting reunion back together or maybe some new songs with it just being you both. As I've seen on Facebook the reunion I'd like to see is Chimaira coming back. That I and many others would love to see that happen and just maybe it will happen sometime in the near future. So just to finish Rob. This was the best EYL I've seen and I hope that you and Mark hook up again and do another. So many thanks for this and you take care of yourself.

One part that I actually cut out of the video during the editing process (for various reasons), was Mark and I talking about how bands like Mudvayne, Rage Against the Machine, and more, probably talked for YEARS before coming together to make a reunion happen. It took us years to get together for our reunion show in 2017. And that was the catalyst. But then, as we all know and have heard, covid put the brakes on our momentum. There is a guy that I found on youtube and he as a great voice and he might just be the right people to be the new vocalist for Fear Factory. His name is Milo and his from Italy. The only thing is that Dino is looking for someone that as the right voice and as years behind them with knowing what it's like to live the life on tour. Immediately when you switched to the floyd esp I thought about if you are a all-in-one or a one-by-one restringer and then I tought about, what you would put behind the saddle to hold it up before taking off all strings, I always used a battery but have never seen a toothbrush being used for it, but that is actually perfect. You can clean the whole fretboard with it and it is flexible to not damage the wood, genius, it is the little stuff!
Yeah man! The toothbrush is perfect for all the reasons you mentioned! And I'm actually a one string at a time type of guy, UNLESS I'm doing a full cleanup on a guitar like I did with this one. Check out some of my guitar maintenance videos to see more about my methods if you're interested! Cheers!
