@@krisjones4051yea but remember the prison he was locked in were for people who essentially committed "thought crimes". They hadn't done anything but were simply deemed dangerous and imprisoned for possible future crimes they hadn't committed. So Mayuri back then still hadn't done anything bad.

Cour 4.. is the the ONE that most people excited to see what Kubo/staff planning to add because after the Mayuri fight or Shunsui fight is were the arc really fell down when it comes to the story/writting but because Kubo's health was bad and ofc the higher ups pushing him to finish it.
