Lifetime wise an double ot triple A battery isnt a huge difference the can maximuk differ 0.3v onlt and most AA cell often already dont come in a 1.5v cell anymore and feel free to google it a good cell of either starts with 2800mah and the verified sorta quality ones stop at 3200 both in rather double and triple A and here tou want tour radio to work long without having to change batteries rhen your point isnt really a step backwards because the higher the mah the more minutes drive time youll get out of it you voltage is more of a force which simply youre off better then good i mean i myself have these plastic tubes and decent triple A rechargeables! If im in a pinch i use the sleeves to buff em up to the size of an AA its still only 1.2 volts it wont mahically become 1.5 because again its an average and also what batteries are you a fan of personally?🤷♂️ Are the just alkaline or is it a NiMH cell per example it all makes some diffrences in this case the voltage at best would increase responsiveness and a few meters of reach on the radio at best and at worst totslly nothing changed the difference isnt great enough reallt i think but you do make very helpfull videos mate! This is Netflix for the time being because yesh obviouslt i also own the model i wasnt just trying ro have a go at Duracell or Panasonic hey 😂✌️
I have one an it's a blast ! If you know it's limitations you can have a blast driving this car . Yes the diff was tight . But after some breaking it in it rolls easy Lot's of running lol I did get mine around July 25 and i have no tread left on tire's lol I did put a cover over the gears nothing gets in .soon i will post video of it . Thanks !
Shaft pinion gears are metal out if the box! Just few weeks ago I found about metal pinion gears upgrade. The plastic ones are Achiles heel of 1/18 A9x9, 1/24 A2x2 and that 1/28 K9x9/P9x9/284131 series. They wears out pretty fast. Did you try them with magnet? I mean is it steel or alloy
Ahhhh the dreaded Wltoys tight diffs! These seemed pretty free to be truthful. Although I've come across some horrendously tight units from Wltoys in the past! 😲
The motor on the new 284161 slows down when you turn the steering, i guess to stop it from tipping. This is good for kids but not for people who know how to drive. Does this model do this too or is it just the 284161 ?
@LetsLaberWithMi daft question where in the video do I say 80mph? I've had a look at the speed test and definitely say 18. Not got any further than that, so I may have said it in the conclusion at the end! 😅

I don't even know were to begin replying to this one. 🤣
I got one a couple days ago. It's quick and handles surprisingly well. It likes carpet. Great buy really.
It is a surprisingly quick little car. 👍
I find these things work great on tennis courts or basketball courts. I’ve seen these do the skate parks pretty well too! Great video my friend!
Tennis courts, great Idea! Never thought of that. 👍

Lots of people use them for mini-z track racing
I'm not surprised they are certainly quick enough.
Especially when you can buy three of these for one Z, and a ton of aftermarket support for upgrades and parts.
@@loknlodemost of Wltoys are known for cheap and very customizable. Pretty good for all kinds of budget builds
Running on flat surfaces is best ! Getting one more for racing a friend !
Defiantly would benefit from having a mate!
Great review. I have one of the first versions. As you say fast & fun. But limited terrain options. Mine just blasts around the kitchen..! 👍
Hehe my wife would love that!!!! 😲

I completely agree. For a lot of smaller RCs, you just need a scale environment to use It in. And a couple of mates to race! 👍😂
This car suitable indoor coz it's open drive gear
Yes, it's probably better for indoor use. 👍

They looked ferrous but not 100% sure.
I forget the other Banggood RC brand name but I think it was a K989 to me this looks like a clone of that RC
Both are made by Wltoys. This is the newer version. 👍
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 definitely bad quality brass on this one ☝️
@@bubblesrcshed might have been a bit of swarf? 👍
How are the diffs on these? The diffs on my 284131 were quite tight. And trying to loosen them didn't quite go well either

Honestly pretty good, needed some loosening but the diffs on mine were totally free spinning. Fyi i buy wltoys rcs for over a decade.
What do you think about the steering ?
It's been a little while since I tried it. But I don't recall there being any issues. 👍
Mine is responsive and well balanced.

Can't say I noticed when I last drove it?
Nope, not as I'm aware
Mph is faster if you run the motor in correctly.
How would you run the motor I correctly? 👍
I don't know what he's on about.😂😂 Just wanted to say that 30kmh is about 18.6mph, not 80mph
@@LetsLaberWithMi the car is faster if you break in the brushed motor correctly nobody is talking about 80mph.
