- Spontaneous combustion is an event where a target spontaneously catches flames without a visible or natural source. Initially, the target would emit smoke as his or her temperature increases rapidly. Immediately after, flames would appear and grow larger in size. The flames fully engulf the victim, killing the victim in mere seconds.
It is a very powerful spell utilized by worshipers of Fthaggua, The King Regent of the Fire Vampires.

Great Story, I loved it!
"All Else Is Dust" has a distinct Twin Peaks and TP: The Return vibe. It's all here: g-men, evil aliens (who possess humans), the A-bomb, the possibility of extra-dimensional spaces and so on. The end, (SPOILER) which suggests that it was just an extra brain, doesn't quite satisfy, but this is a gem of a tale that Lynch surely read. Thanks, CABH!
Rumor has it that “All Else is Dust” is the favorite story of the Thousand Sons Legion. 😅
Sorry I'm late to the party. Comment for the algorithm.
Never heard this Bloch story.
Good stuff, CaBH
Another Bloch joint, one that's totally NTM. Nice. Excellent again, CABH & thanks! Prefacing it all with the spontaneous combustion information & adding Fthaggua into the mix seems like an attempt to tie this tale into the Mythos when while it MIGHT fit it has an equal chance of not being a part of the Mythos at all. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Great storie.
Hilarious fact, the original 'max headroom' movie had a plot that involved spontaneous human combustion
So was the voice an alien that caused the tumor or was the voice just the tumor itself? I am assuming the later and the "alien" was a red herring.
Comment for the comment god, likes for the like throne
