Backyard Trail Park - Two Guys Playing with RC 4x4 Trucks - Vaterra & Traxxas

- My buddy Steve came over for a visit today.. him and I go WAYYY back. He re-found me on RUclips and we were able to connect after not seeing each other in 15 years! Too Cool! What better way to hang out then to go out with a couple of RC trucks on to my "backyard scale trail track" and hit up some obstacles!
The two trucks we are using are (His: Vaterra Ascender Chevy K5 Blazer), mine - Traxxas TRX-4 - Tactical Unit! Both of our trucks are fairly close to stock. My TRX4 is 98% stock, with me only adding the blue lights. His, the only upgrades are the Rims and Tire choice. The chevy is running 1.9 RC4WD Mud Slingers, and Aluminum Bead locks that are Integy. Steve hasn't ever had a scale trail truck before.. and I think this Vaterra Ascender is a perfect speed for him to start! he has seen so many RC ADVENTURES, that he knows this truck well.

Awesome to see the two of you having fun with the obstacle course. Steve told me about some of the things that you didn't show. He had such a great time hanging with you and doing the things you both love to do. Have to say I wasn't really interested in rc until Steve showed me the videos now I watch every video you post. Awesome videos!!!
So this morning Steve got up charged the battery for the rc and is currently trying to find things to rock climb in the backyard. Lol it is only 9am ... Awesome to see him getting out and having fun. I think he is practicing for the next time he is out with you 😉
HAHAHA!!! I am so happy to see another member of the RC Family! That truck will bring him a lot of happiness - and something new and exciting to explore. Michelle, thanks for letting me know he is enjoying to much. I know that truck went to a good home !

Just ordered the 2nd Axial SCX10.2 kit for this household . . Could've gotten the Ascender Blazer, but didnt due to aftermarket support . . Now the wife will have hers, and i will have my own . . All thanks to your channel . . Your channel has inspired my wife and myself with decisions on r/c's . . Have a Summit, some Slashes, and now will have a couple SCX10.2 kit trucks . .

I have only been with you for a few years but you still got it you got me back in to the wonderful world of rc my original rc was stolen a long time ago and I just forgot about the hobby for so long then I found your channel and with in a month I went out and bought a traxxas you reminded of the passion for this hobby now I am up to 10 rc most traxxas love both channels I am hear for both I am a notified vewer both bells are rung

You can.. its called the "RC ADVENTURES TTC Series".. I filmed it for 10 years on my main channel. Each series has 6-8 films of competition

Awesome video I enjoy watching just as much as i enjoy crawling my Vaterra. The tires on that Vaterra are really not good for crawling on wood obstacles, its to square and does not conform over convex objects, their good for rock crawling and mud. The factory vaterra tires are way better for wood obstacles. The man has skills for first time pistol grip RC.👍🏼

That looks like some much fun . I'm 53 and a still a big kid when it comes to cars and trucks. Don't know were you're located but it looks like my childhood backyard in central Illinois.

Love the new channel man. I’ve now had a crawler for a year, mostly thanks to you. I never knew how much fun crawling could be. I built an scx10.2 kit and love it.
I’m now looking to buy a 2nd one so my boys can drive with me! It’s between the trx4 and an the new sc10.2 Jeep Wrangler crc
So much fun to watch! I wish I still had my RC10's but thankfully I still have my Bullhead/Clodbuster. I have some kind of 4WD Traxxas truck that run today that's pretty cool. But it ain't the same. I was a bit embarrassed when I walked into the hobby store looking for a kit only to be told they come fully assembled now. Talk about showing your age!

I miss your rc trailing videos I love all your rc videos but I miss your old originals lol.you should come to Texas lol we have 2 places to crawl but bull creek is always fun I think it’s like a 2 or 3 mile trail idk but it takes longer than 2 hours to get through the a quarter of it but super fun and gorgeous
I miss trailing videos too. That stopped degenerative discs failing my back.. so, I come to this channel.. where people can leave me to play the way I can in my life :) Im tired of folks always telling me they miss the old me. So I changed my channel.. so I can be the current me.
