    wow.. i've been drawing all my life and perspective alwyas i find is difficult, but i have never seen someone explain it in the way you have by literally moving the camera view to show how the reference marks appear differently at different angles. That's just brilliant and helps so much! Thank You for taking the time to make your videos! :) :) :)

      Absolutely right, this is a gem. Cause most of the modern things I've seen is either something very specific ("how to draw appendix") or as broad like "go open a sculptor/medical book with all of muscles"

    Sometimes drawing feels like math.

    • @edgarthepug9787
      @edgarthepug9787 9 лет назад +43

      It does if you're a growing and talented artist like me. Drawing isn't just about getting it done quickly and 'good' and then never looking at it again, you have to take time And pay attention to detail and getting those lines placed juuuust right. Cherish work you have maybe spent even weeks on (I know I have). Art is a beautiful thing, and you should never feel ashamed of even the crappiest things you make!

    • @MoFiTheMagnificent

      T-Feather yeah, most videos I watch were made a LOOOONG time ago... Oh man, you should have seen my newest drawing... I tried this with one of my charctars, and oh, geez... It turned out hideous, but I intend to improve this drawing somehow over time!

    • @MoFiTheMagnificent
      @MoFiTheMagnificent 9 лет назад +4

      Elizabeth Rempel I checked out ur channel. I noticed that u like a lot of pokemon. U remind me a lot of my friend. He likes pokemon n draws just like u n me ( He's better than me though). Some of his drawings he doesnt like n he gives them to me. The point that I'm trying to say is, whatever ur drawing was, I'm pretty sure others might die to draw as good as u.

    @SlashSwordDemon my red drawing (when I'm drawing clothes/details) is actually pretty messy. I try to draw rough like that until I can find the line I'm looking for; then it's a little easier to draw clean and neatly over that with pen.

    @piro632 hmmm, I'm not sure what flipping the torso upside down would look like but for a girl in this angle, some of the things I would be thinking about (mental checklist) are:
    1. making the waist more narrow-- trying to get that hourglass shape of the torso
    2. making the shoulders not as wide or broad. Shoulders for girls tend to be less wide and will slope down a little more. Guys' torso looks boxy if that makes sense.
