Peut tu m’aider ? Svp Merci d avance
Hi. Are you able to use the software buttons on the screen to fold and unfold the convertible top? On my car they are highlighted when I press them but there is no movement of the top.
@@cs.studios Physical buttons are okay. Software buttons don't work and this option will be removed on the next app update according to the i-bus team. I sent them an email asking about it and that's what they told me.
Oh wow that’s good to know. Would have been nice pressing the software button once to have top open/close. I’m assuming it’s not wired or something to iBUS adapter
hey so I have the same head unit but I factory reset mine recently. I had AutoPay (apple carplay) and now I cant find it nor can I find a way to get it back. Any ideas on how to solve this?
Can you change the settings so the DRLs don’t come on at all (disabled)? Currently my DRLs are my halogen high beams on half power, and I’m not a fan of the yellow halogen look. Thanks!
What’s the real life difference between the four different CPU options? There are PX4, PX6 and two different Qualcomm options. I’d like to use fluent apple car play navigation. Will be the PX4 configuration sufficient enough? Also: The base configuration does already include wired apple car play right? I only need to purchase the separate adapter if I need wireless CarPlay. Is that correct?
May i ask what is the reason we need an additional iBUS interface module, if the head unit itself is expected already to have access to iBus (at least because the wheel control buttons will not work otherwise) ?
Glad i watched this, saved me 70€ 😂😂😂
thank you for saving me some money!

I haven’t tried this as I just use the physical buttons but it’s supposed to work. Does your physical buttons not work?

I plugged my iBus into the same connector and USB…no love. It just says USB not supported. Any ideas? I do have the Avant 4 with LTE and Android 10.
Check all connections and also check for bent or damaged pins. You may have defective ibus adapter if everything seems okay

Try installing a launcher that shows every app installed. Then open it and it should launch automatically after
Thanks, this was really helpful. How do you modify the light sequence when locking and unlocking the car?
You know…I’m still trying to figure that out LOL
@@cs.studios Let me know if you figure it out.
Yeah im having the same problem, has anyone figured it out yet?
If I want to get a new Android, how can I use the IBUS app?
You can download the apk file
Hello my friend can you tell me what brand is your head unit and how i can find it ?
Avin Avant 4, google it and you’ll Find their website
How did you take out the white connector in the ibus adapter?
Use a small flathead screwdriver. There should be a tab you gotta press down and pull wire at same time
Can you change the settings so the DRLs don’t come on at all (disabled)? Currently my DRLs are my halogen high beams on half power, and I’m not a fan of the yellow halogen look. Thanks!
I’ll check after work today if there’s a way to turn them off. I believe I only saw options to add more lights as DRL.
@@cs.studios did you get a chance to check? :)
I am only able to add lights. Perhaps there’s some coding that can be done to turn them off
@@cs.studios Hey man! I found a way to disable the DRL that uses the high beam bulbs on half power. It's in the Coding menu of the iBus app :)
Would you say that iBus is worth it?? If it’s just going to be a daily driver
I would say you’d have to want it. It’s not necessary but I like it
You def need it if you car has the factory DSP
Can it display the pdc and backup camera when in reverse? Thanks
Yes
@@cs.studios thanks, will it display the pdc and backup camera automatically on reverse with split screen?
How do you know your key?
I purchase the key with the ibus adapter
is this an original boardmonitor?
No it’s Avin Avant 4 head unit
Nice video thanks
How to fix the voltage ?
I’m not sure, mine worked out of the box. Try updating to latest version
@@cs.studios yours show 15.0 too.

I would go with PX6. PX4 is slow and painful. PX6 has the best balance between cost and performance.

I’m not sure on the technical reasons, but I do know the software and hardware are both needed together.
