For someone who supposedly planned out his murder so well, he sure as heck did an almost comically terrible job of carrying it out! It's like he got so caught up in his fantasy world of movie magic and his delusional belief that he was a brilliant director (and all-around genius) that he genuinely confused the scripted crimes and characters from shows like "Dexter" with the reality of actual police investigations! (Protip: Dexter gets away with his crimes because the show would be boring if he got caught and went to prison...and body disposal is NOT as simple as Hollywood makes it look!)
I talked to someone who was friends with Johnny's brother he was very traumatized that he ended up moving out of the city as well as the province, he was always protective of his younger brother. It's just disturbing knowing this this could happen to anyone even people you know.

IMHO, it's just more evidence that he truly was living in a delusional world in which he'd managed to confuse reality vs. fantasy to such an extent that he genuinely convinced himself he was some brilliant, Hollywood-esque criminal mastermind...when in fact he was only a failed small-town showbiz poseur with delusions of grandeur.
