    For those who don't know. Those tears are tears of joy. A joy unspeakable, unexplainable, a peace that surpasses all understanding.......joy in the truth that Jesus is our savior, God is our father and those that are with us are more than those that are with them

    Please everybody, GET READY!!!! WE WILL BE IN HEAVEN SOON! Two or 3 months ago I had 2 very vivid dreams of Heaven, and in both dreams I experienced this undying peace that I never have felt in my life before, and I'm starting to feel it sweep over me... The darkest night is just before the dawn. Jesus is fixing to take us all Home. How soon I don't know, but He is coming back for us! Pray for everyone you've ever known in your life, and ask God to watch over them and protect them. Lord be with us all, and place Your hedge of protection and Your blanket of Peace upon all of Your children. Be with the situation between Russia and the Ukraine, minister unto Vladimir Putin's heart as only You can, Lord. Be with us all until we reach Your Heavenly shore, I pray this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

    If I remember right, this is the video that started it all. Bill just decided to record at the last minute during an impromptu get-together. The spirit moved so greatly he knew he had to do more, and he planned and prepared for it. If it's not the very first it's early. Been so long I'm not sure, but I remember watching the first time it aired, thinking more was needed. And so the Gaither homecoming series began.

      You are correct. It was just meant to be a get together of gospel singers but it was aired on some TV stations & there was a demand for more & the rest of history.

    I am so "HAPPY" to see this. Vestal made everything she touched alot better than she left it. Breaks my heart she's gone. I have a fear of dying yet I've been a Christian my entire life and still attend church. I cried with her because it's gotta be better than the things of earth.

    I love the lyrics to this song! So beautiful.
    I wanted to tell anyone reading this something really important.
    One day we are all going to stand before God. If you have ever lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain (omg) which is called blasphemy , hated someone (which God consideres murder) or done other things that are against His law ( the Ten Commandments), He sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, murderer. He will judge us, and because we have all broken His law, we ALL deserve hell.
    But because He loves us, He became a human about two thousand years ago, lived without sinning, and died a terrible death He didn’t deserve because of us. Three days later He rose from the dead and one day He is coming back.
    We all deserve the ultimate punishment (hell). But God loves us so much that He took the punishment on Himself.
    We broke Gods law, Jesus paid the fine.
    If you repent from your sins ( sincerely apologize for breaking His law and turn away from doing it anymore) and trust in Him and Him only, your punishment will be paid for, you will get eternal life in heaven, and you will no longer go to hell.
    I’m not telling you this to judge you. The thought of you going to hell terrifies me. I don’t want anyone to go without hearing this wonderful news.
    Thank you whoever took the time to read this.
    If you have a Bible, I suggest you read the book of John. You can find many Bible apps on devices.
    I pray that you and everyone who reads this will think about this seriously. And I hope to see you in heaven.

      Thank you Vanessa, for that beautiful comment. It truly will touch many through the decades it is read on here. Bless you mycdesr from my old 79 year old heart. I was lucky to have seen many of these groups when they sang for us and for God at my small church in Ioea revivals. We were all blessed and didn't want the hours to ever end. We sang along . Never such a feeling as lifting the Lord up in one worship. ⚘🎶🙏⚘

    Bill & Gloria Gaither
    Until Then
    My heart can sing when I pause to remember
    A heartache here is but a stepping stone
    Along a trail that's winding always upward,
    This troubled world is not my final home.
    But until then my heart will go on singing,
    Until then with joy I'll carry on,
    Until the day my eyes behold the city,
    Until the day God calls me home.
    The things of earth will dim and lose their value
    If we recall they're borrowed for awhile;
    And things of earth that cause the heart to tremble,
    Remembered there will only bring a smile.
    But until then my heart will go on singing,
    Until then with joy I'll carry on,
    Until the day my eyes behold the city,
    Until the day God calls me home.
    This weary world with all its toil and struggle
    May take its toll of misery and strife;
    The soul of man is like a waiting falcon;
    When it's released, it's destined for the skies.
    But until then my heart will go on singing,
    Until then with joy I'll carry on,
    Until the day my eyes behold the city,
    Until the day God calls me home.

      @@brenthandycts131 No. “On February 19, 1992, the Gaither Vocal Band had just wrapped up a recording session in a Nashville, Tennessee, working on an album called Homecoming, which featured many of the great voices of southern gospel music: The Speers, The Gatlins, Jake Hess, The Cathedrals, Howard & Vestal Goodman, Buck Rambo, Eva Mae Lefevre, James Blackwood, Hovie Lister, Jim Hill, and J.D. Sumner & The Stamps. After the session, the artists stayed around to chat, swap stories and sing old standards around the piano.[1] The impromptu session was recorded on video and later published. The recording was so well received that Gaither began a series of professionally produced videos with larger gatherings of gospel musicians.”
      THIS is that video.

      In the back there’s Jim Hill. Sitting in the middle is Eva Mae Lefevre. Front left is George Younce, and I don’t see him clearly but I think next to him is Glen Payne. Behind them are Mary Tom and Rosa Nell Speer. I think I also saw Larry Gatling (in a white cardigan). Finally next to Mark Lowry I think that’s Buck Rambo.

      @@rainerfrey I've never seen George Younce wearing glasses before, so I think that threw me, but yes that is him and that does indeed look like Glen Payne. I was familiar with Jim Hill's work, but he just looked "familiar" and I didn't know him by name. I didn't recognize Eva Mae Lefevre. Thank you for the input (and making me feel like a fool for not recognizing George and Glen, lol).God bless.

  • @johnrobin8799
    @johnrobin8799 Год назад

    “For the theory of social-fascism was based on the proposition that “bourgeois democracy” and “fascism” were merely different forms of the “dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.” One was “masked,” the other “naked.” The “democratic form” of the bourgeois dictatorship was considered by far the more dangerous and detestable of the two because it was supposedly harder to expose.”
    “The Ghost of Social Fascism.”
    by Theodore Draper
    commentarydotorg
    February 1969
    In this article, Draper ridicules the theory of Social Fascism. Nonetheless, it is a good introduction to the topic, which is more relevant today than it was in 1969.
