WOAH! - What a way to finish our time in Indonesia! Having just finished ANOTHER resort in Maumere we wen't into this adventure with high hopes. Happy to say that those high hopes were met. In this video we review Le Pirate Island beach Resort where we stayed overnight, actually we spent a few days on le pirate island which gave us a chance to stay in both the 'Beach Hut' and the 'Glamping Sweet' options In this video we compare both to see if the ugrade is worth it.
We also see what being on the Island club Package is like and see if thats worth it too!

These beach resorts are incredible. I think it would take me a bit of getting used to using the outdoor toilet even if it is private. I can imagine the upgraded space is most beneficial when it's raining and you have no choice but to stay inside. It's a bit of an adventure getting stranded! I hope they still fed you.
Haha they can be! Were super glad on the day we picked to upgrade, getting an extra night there would have been much better than the little hut on stilts!
We had to pay for extra food, couldn't believe it 😆

Hot tip - baby sharks were by the jetty super close to the shore on the far side! If you go up on the jetty you can see them ☺️

Jordan and Emily, wow, at least you were both stranded together in paradise. Hope they made some discounted deal to make the extra night less expensive. Really enjoyed the snorkeling footage, the Sea Turtle and fish were awesome. Looking forward to your next video to see how everything worked out. Hopefully one day you will visit the Philippines as they have a lot of beautiful Islands there as well to explore.

Great series, love all the out of way islands, never knew they existed. Def not the cheap hut for me. When you think about how much we pay for a cheap motel in Aussie then the better accom is the go with those views. Always good to have extra night spares when travelling these days, never know what will happen. Happy travels. Good luck and hang in there with you tube, enjoying your vlogs. Frugal travellers are a older coup,e travelling and have good tips with cheap travel etc.

I am sorry if I interrupt your guys. I have a situation here. I have been looking for the address of family members of the late Australian actor Heath Ledger (who died tragically 15 years ago on January 22, 2008, in Manhattan, NY). I haven’t found it yet in my 15 years of searching. I don’t know if both of you would help me to direct my search for those addresses in Australia.
The reason I have been doing this is that I was, am, and I will be a Heath Ledger fan. Unfortunately, the pride of Australia, a very promising actor, a very kind person, a generous young man, a hard-working Australian, and a dedicated young father to his baby girl Mathilda had his life cut short. I was so devastated when he was pronounced dead. It still impacts me now. I did not comprehend and still, I do not understand why.
Jordan & Emily, both of you are Australian, I am Indonesian from Flores island. We are neighbors. Australians have a special place in my life. I have been working and being friends with Australians in Flores (some of them researchers, students, tourists, NGO agents, and some of them Catholic priests). The Australians that I know of are friendly, kind, generous, helpful, and joyful. I do believe, as an Australian native, Our late Heath Ledger also had the same character and spirit. I learn a lot of good things from my fellow neighbor Australians.
The death of Heath Ledger, I can say, affected me. It saddened me so deeply.😭 Let alone he died simply ALONE. Our late Heath Ledger shouldn’t have deserved that. He did not deserve that. Every human being does not deserve something like that. It was painful and I am still in pain when I read or rewatch everything about the tragic life and death of Heath Ledger.😭
So, I often ask myself, what can I do to pay tribute and respect, and love to my late Australian brother Heath Ledger? You know, Next upcoming April 04, 2022, will be the commemoration of Heath Ledger’s Birthday ( I am Catholic, so I do believe in eternal life, and I do believe that our late Heath Ledger now is in the bosom of Loving God). He is still alive on another side of a dimension of space and time.
And, If you are going to visit Manhattan, New York, please pass by the apartment building where our late Heath Ledgers once lived and at the same time the place where he passed away ALONE.😭
If you arrive there please just pass my whisper to him: “Heath, I wish you could visit Indonesia. I wish you could visit Flores Island. Heath, I love you as my neighbor brother. Rest In Eternal Peace” from Hubertus Tenga.

Great video! What about taking a drone there? We know that they say it is forbidden, but we see that people have footage recorded by drone. How it looks in practise?
We borrowed some drone footage from another guest! But it seems like they were okay with flying it over the beach and water but it was forbidden to be flown over the huts because of outdoor shower privacy 😄
@@JordanandEmily In the meantime we were there and we confirm what you wrote. It is confusing, because they highlight that it is "no drone area", but statute which is available at place says that you can fly over the beach and water. Finally we did not take a drone there ☺ We cut off from the devices and really rested. Place is great. Thanks!
