My peace never dies out. For my peace is my Being, that goes on just being peace. There's no effort on my peace, nor becoming of it, or be of it, but just being it, for my Being just goes on being peace. ;-)

Of course, this excludes physical pain. But, it's interesting how folks will deny this 'ability' to remain unaffected by any and all worldly circumstances. Of course, this requires a high degree of spiritual attainment (Ramakrishna immediately comes to mind), but it certainly seems both doable and desirable in my estimation. This world is not our home, we are 'sightseers' or 'cosmic tourists'!

People are still deeply embedded in the programming, the “system “ created by man which forces us to live “in the world” instead of innerstanding that we are not of the world. Money is what keeps us attached to this world and the consequences of not having enough and imagining the negative circumstances that may follow will never allow for peace. There is a higher innerstanding of what real peace and freedom is and how to attain the state of peace but many just aren’t in the proper state of “mind” to be able to abide in this place of peace. I don’t want to make money the issue but it really is at the core of what most people fear🙏🏼🇨🇦💜

Look for the gapes between your thoughts. When you arrange flowers make a space big enough for a butterfly to fly between.

This is so well said! I too feel less identified with the contents of experience and live more as the background awareness. Not as much as I would like, but I can see progress on the continuum. I like your humility. Indeed it would be very presumptuous and naïve to assume that no experience could ever pull you out of the background peace, because we can't even imagine all of the possible experiences and their impact on us.
