I’m absolutely sure that the children are Aemond’s and Helaena knows their fate, which is heartbreaking. Although I was team black but now team green, this was low and not necessary. Jaehaerys was six years old, a child and did nothing wrong. What happens to Helaena and their children, will turn Aemond into a monster.
I agree and they had nothing to do with what happened between Luke and Aemond . Plus, I think it is surprising because they are also Daemon’s kin and from my understanding he would protect his kin from physical harm and death, not slay them. If anything they should have stayed focus on defeating Otto, Allicent and Criston for stealing Rhaenyra’s birthright and setting in motion the events that led to Luke’s death in the first place.
You are absolutely right, blood and cheese is the lowest of the lows, only someone like Daemon can go this low. That's the event in the books where I decided even tho I don't particularly like Aegon II, I can never support the blacks. Whether Aemond intended or not to kill Luke it doesn't even matter to me, he was going for revenge on someone who took his eye out and paid no price for it, not even an apology. What he or Vhagar did was extreme but they had a personal reason, while Daemon did it to an innocent child who was 6 years old and they even threatened to rape a 6yo girl, all that in front of her mother and grandmother
Blood and Cheese definitely was a morally low point.I feel that the showrunners will pinpoint this act to the white worm as a retaliation against the green and also to avoid the backlash from Daemon fans.
Tbh I love that no character is really good or bad. Like how after Luke dies rhaenyra goes from the realms delight to maegor with teats. We'll understand why she becomes an awful person but she'll still be the cruel queen equal to that of maegor. And the same concept applies to the other characters. Except for halaena who seems to be the only truly good character but that doesn't exactly end well. "In the game of thrones u either win or u die"
@@cyeco_13 yeah it's gonna be awesome. Makes me sad that every good and or moral person dies easily i.e. helaena and and stark. It makes me wonder what is gonna be after the dance. Like in the book it's not much after it's all over and everyone's dead and eaten and disappeared.
I will be honest, I feel like Team Black fans will looks past this pretty quickly. They just don't hold team black accountable for the shit they do. Either they try very hard to justify it or turn a blind eye. Whereas, whenever Team Green does anything bad they jump at them like hounds. I am not saying they should condone what Team Green did either but I am so sick of their double standards.
It’s the same in the original GOT. Robert named Joffrey his heir, even though he was a bastard and not his (albeit unknown to him), and fans sided against Joffrey because he wasn’t the legitimate heir. Now in HOTD, Rhynera has illegitimate kids that she intends to have be heir after her, and fans support her. What the greens are essentially doing, placing a legitimate Targaryen on the throne, is what Ned Stark tried to do for the Baratheons, but everyone is mad at them for it.
@@kitb7624 It is nothing similiar. Here Rhaneyra is the true heir to the iron throne. It doesn't concern her children. She is the legitimate child of Viserys and she was unanimously chosen the crown princess and the other houses pledged their loyalty to her. The Greens headed by Otto hightower began plotting against Daemon long back and it was Otto who suggested Rhaneyra be crowned instead. He knew full well a women won't be accepted. So the plotting was even before Rhaneyra had illegitimate children. Then it all comes down to the duty and patriarchal tradition that Alicent support and conserves . Rhaneyra wanted to be free and live life on her own terms . Alicent does shady 'pervy' business with the Lucerys Strong. So she must be the last person judging Rhaneyra for having a mutually agreed marriage for convenience. It is a matter of perspective. Alicent's marriage with the old king viserys wasn't out of love either. She took advantage of a emotionally down Viserys mourning his wife.
Exactly! I'm in no team tbh, I'm just here to enjoy the crazy characters, and I find Aemond the most interesting. But this kind of behaviour from Black stans kinda pushes me to be on Green side. Why can't Black stans admit that their favs are doing sh*t and are as bad as Greens?
Excuse me but what have they done? Daemon yes but he doesn’t hide behind a cloak of hypocrisy but what has Rhaenyra you’re going to compare that to someone who beats a man to death Kills a small council member plots the death of the heir and her family usurps her kills their own brother and father and burns the home of someone providing information and kills there own nephew I won’t get into how many girls Aegon sexually assaults and Alicent pays off and gives them moon tea and those are the ones she knows about there’s his bastards running all around KL too
@@dipsydoodle2728 and here we have it, a Black delulu stan~ no one is saying that Greens are good tho, the point is Blacks aren't any better, the sooner you fans accept it, the better, there is no real excuse for any of their actions, including the Blacks, so let's stop pretending
Many are saying that the children are not Aemon's, since between episodes 2 and 3 he is seen in a brothel with a prostitute, who Aegon claims was his first wife and that this would make it impossible for there to be a relationship between Aemon and Helaena. But, I believe that Aemon was in that brothel for refuge and emotional containment, which he cannot demonstrate with Helaena for obvious reasons. Furthermore, how demoralized and affected he is throughout two chapters outweighs Aegon's reckless reaction as a result of the death of his "son", since I doubt that Aemon's personal and emotional burden is due solely to the death of Jace Velaryon.
The children must be Aemond's, I don't think they are Aegon's at all. You saw how Helaena saw Aegon when he was crowned and how he approached Aemond. They are his.

yes they actually did threaten to R- her little girl Jaehaera. Cheese said that she’s better hurry up and cheese or else Blood would grow bored and R- Jaehaera, their daughter.
I am absolutely sure the children are Aemond's. And poor Helaena, the Seer she is, already knows they won't last long.
