I love you yard! Everything is so manicured and neat. It just shows the kind of neatness and clean the equipment is. Live the vids! Damn I miss working the ground. Can't wait for the next video. Stay safe!
Thanks i appreciate that. Get tired of all these videos where everything is just the greatest and everything is always fine and no one ever gets mad or anything. I just wanna show the real side of the story. Thanks for watching!
Like many I've followed from tiktok. Love the content and the longer videos. Keep up the good work dude. This channel will be a great success for sure.
Awesome videos. Really enjoy all the content you put out. Here and on TikTok. Keep em coming. Like to see the difference in equipment compared to what we use down here in South Texas. Cotton, sorghum, and corn is our rotation on about 1200 acres.
You have yourself a damn nice fleet, love that you replaces your 20 series with that sweet 7400, always loved the 20 series and especially liked the look of the roll guard and canopy combo and that 7400 gives the old look a fresh face
My hometown is home to Landoll Corporation my Grandpa had a weatherproofer on the farm back in the day! They make a kinds of stuff all very well built! Love your videos keep up the good work!
@@growincorn745 Wow that's crazy small world sometimes! Got a question for you why don't you all do no till planting out that away? That's about all we do around these parts anymore!
There's some no tilling around here but its by far more so for beans than corn. Main problem is our ground is so flat and when you get early spring rains it stays wet forever if it wasn't chiseled in the fall.
That quick hitch setup on that planter is slicker than hell. They’ll be patenting that if they see that, it’ll be their latest and greatest improvement that they talk up I’m sure. They come around to the good ideas eventually lol. And there’s no such thing as too much horsepower. There’s always times you need a little more grunt.
It kills me how deere will have 400 options that you'll never use on a tractor, but they cant make a simple way to switch from corn to beans on a planter lol.
An 1100 acre well managed enterprise is something to be damn proud of. I was 300, then 1500, and I am thinking the smart money would have stopped there. You don’t have to go over the top on infrastructure and equipment, payrolls etc… Your place and equipment look great 👍
If you haven’t replace your light on the cart you might check out a light bar on amazon. On our kinze 1050 that made loading at night a hell of a lot nicer
We demoed a kongskilde with disc blades in 08 i think cant totally recall like the 2nd year the came out with them, it was on a i think 285 magnum, was told to leave rough ground for it loved thr disc blades being straight after that well it wasn't worth running it, never took the weeds out they sold several around here 2 guys still got them and they love them, as of last year, everyone else had them about 2 or 3 years and off they went!!
Just wondering why your corn head and drapper heads are so small.Especially since you put that time in that combine you could definitely have a 12 row corn head and a 35 or 40 ft drapper.Maybe you have some smaller fields up there i was just wondering.
These heads are borderline over kill for our acreage. Bigger heads means more trucks, which means more money, then you gotta pay someone to drive those trucks. Would also need a bigger grain cart. 110 hours a year is virtually nothing on a combine.
Not sure if anyone else noticed but the audio volume was kind of low on this video compared to the other ones. Still loved the video and your Tik Tok buddy!!👍👍
Hi I'm a guy from Denmark and has done Exchange programs in Australia and the US. Regarding Your Kongskilde Cultivator I know why your are unhappy with it. The reason is that it was never meant to run behind a disc ripper but it was built to seedbed creation behind a mouldboard plough on light to medium soils class 2-5 + 10. We class our soil following 1= beach sand, 9 = heavy clay 10= 100% organic matter.
Are you still using the kongskilde? You hate it so much I’m surprised you didn’t say that you were gonna sell it or cut it up to take off to the junkyard
It's one of those catch 22's. We're about married to it now. No one will give you anything for it but its too nice to park in the fencerow lol. Its ok for working ground 1st pass, just don't wanna plant behind it.
The guys who use cover crops around here have had a hell of a mess the last few years. It stays so wet they cant get em sprayed therefore their planting is about 3 weeks behind everyone else.
Yes Kevin wirth his dad built bins cant recall the name of the place it was in strawsburg maybe bought a brock bin from him. His boy was already working here at nearby equity plant
Yeah gary is his dad, York Bin was the name of the place. Gary hasn't worked there for probably 15 years or more now. Kevin works for co-op over at Marshall Illinois.
I don’t want to be one of the assholes correcting people...but I’m sure the 4020 was promoted to auger use rather than demoted. Haha. Thanks for the video.
Never saw this channel until today when it popped up in my feed. Couple minutes in I hear “I’m not a fucking mechanic!” I like this guy already.
I see a Growin Corn video about equipment...I know lots of curse words and honest reviews are on the way...I hit like... it's so simple.

I appreciate that, thank you!
I like the way you handle yourself. Tell it like it is

Great review of a fantastic lineup of machinery, looking forward to seeing more from your channel in the future.
Best equipment tour I’ve seen on RUclips.
Great video you guys have some pretty nice equipment it shows you take pride in them 👍🏻
I love your honesty!
My hometown is home to Landoll Corporation my Grandpa had a weatherproofer on the farm back in the day! They make a kinds of stuff all very well built! Love your videos keep up the good work!
When i went on wheat harvest in 1998 one of the guys i worked for lived a few blocks from landoll there in Marysville.

Your place and equipment look great 👍
Awesome video Tony. Great look line of equipment very well kept. I follow you on here and tictoc. Fishing looked awesome. Stay safe my friend
Y’all sure do keep things neat I like that
nice tour of your farm
Beautiful equipment for your land base
I love the seared words 👍🏻
Great video, we had some similar equipment. My opinion on deep tillage is the caseih 875.
Great video man.
I was wondering what happen to ya. good luck with harvest looks like you have the gear to do the job
On the 8285r you can replace the Monitor for a touch screen! That’s what we did on our 8335r we have not regrets of switching it.
You got the 8285R 20 min away from my house that awesome!
We had two Landoll rippers. Could not keep sheer bolts from constantly breaking. Switched to a Case ripper and could not be happier.
We run macdon drapers. We love them.
If you haven’t replace your light on the cart you might check out a light bar on amazon. On our kinze 1050 that made loading at night a hell of a lot nicer

This guy is the best.

Yeah we had one of those too in about 2010. Ran it 2 years and traded it for this one. They're both shit as far as im concerned.
Yes they are
Went to school in Windsor. Graduated in'97.
Nice line up
Really enjoy your channel
Thanks
Love the videos man! Great equipment love the way you keep it up! Just curious do you guys spray your fields? If so do you use a boom sprayer or what?
No we let the co-op do our spraying. We just dont have enough to justify a sprayer and a tanker etc.
Awesome video! Do you guys have any old barns around with old equipment like moldboard plows or anything?
No we sold the last moldboard plows about 2 years ago.
Are you going to upgrade the corn head as well?
No we got a new 8 row a few years ago so we'll still be running it.
Just wondering why your corn head and drapper heads are so small.Especially since you put that time in that combine you could definitely have a 12 row corn head and a 35 or 40 ft drapper.Maybe you have some smaller fields up there i was just wondering.

I know this is an old video but I was curious as to if you ever ran a honeybee head. I don't know anything about them
Would you guys ever think about putting on a wind reel?
I wouldn't rule it out, i guess I've never really looked into one.
It gets the job done
Great video I’m also from Illinois and make farming videos🤘🏼
Oh yeah I watch you to
I live like 15 minutes from where that tree puller was made in clarinda
Not sure if anyone else noticed but the audio volume was kind of low on this video compared to the other ones. Still loved the video and your Tik Tok buddy!!👍👍
We all know you really, really want a nice, new Gleaner Combine!
How long y’all owned the 4020? I have my dads one owner 3020 Diesel. Enjoy your videos sir!
Since the late 70's i think.

I wish I could come help you farm you would be fun to work with
Have ran KKK's and JD Danish. A late model Kuhn Krause C-shank out performed them both.
Yeah im not a fan of Danish Tine at all, especially after running the sunflower.
We use the crap out of a disc down here in the south
Are you still using the kongskilde? You hate it so much I’m surprised you didn’t say that you were gonna sell it or cut it up to take off to the junkyard

Where it that nice lookin 4010 ? It wasn't in this line up
I mean each to there own, but why not use cover crops and no till? Love your videos none the less!
The guys who use cover crops around here have had a hell of a mess the last few years. It stays so wet they cant get em sprayed therefore their planting is about 3 weeks behind everyone else.
We have ran a 1063 on 4 combines
What equipment do you have personally don’t you have a 806
Yeah i got an 856 but it stays at my house year round, it doesn't do any field work or anything.
At the 41:38 mark- was that a deer blind with a window AC unit in it???
Goddam good eye!! Yes by golly it was!! Used to take it camping down on the river in the summer, that's why its got a/c.
John Deere re inventing the wheel lol
Is your planter still.for.sale.at the dealer?
Good fucking video keep them coming
This dude is funny as fuck
Wy dont you remove the big shank in the middle?
Cause then you'll have a big section of ground that didn't get ripped and that'll be even worse.
You keep saying “we”. Do you farm with family?
No. Im in the process of taking over for a guy who is retiring.
Can you do a shop tour
Shit im only like 15 min from shiloh valley the farm my grandpa used to work for farms all that ground around shiloh valley by the afb there
One of our landlords is from Strasburg Wirth brothers
Copy that. Dennis and Darrell Wirth??
Yes Kevin wirth his dad built bins cant recall the name of the place it was in strawsburg maybe bought a brock bin from him. His boy was already working here at nearby equity plant
Yeah gary is his dad, York Bin was the name of the place. Gary hasn't worked there for probably 15 years or more now. Kevin works for co-op over at Marshall Illinois.
😂 awesome I used to love to watch Jeff Raymond but he stopped u tube
U are a great replacement
is the 7930 930 horse power? id think not but the 8295 R is 295 HP soo ???
John Deere changed the numbering system between the 30 series and the R series. Just like the 9230 in this video is not 230 horse.
How many hours on 9230
Deere is going to copy that
We run a 12 row corn head
Took 4 minutes to cuss suprising
Nice video, would you guys ever go amd try a newer case?
Yeah I'd try one, i think they're pretty good tractors.
Volume is to low bud. Good stuff.
Do you have issues with seed depth as you use the liquid off the planter?.. weight im meaning.
No, its far enough forward the tractor carries most of the weight, the active pneumatic air system helps keep a good consistent depth too.
@@growincorn745 ok thank you.. ive always wondered. Never been around liquid..
Can you make that kid work more? 😁😂
Can u pray for my friends family he was in a really bad dirt bike accident and lost his life he lost control so plz pray for him 😭
Sorry to hear that, we'll say a few prayers.
Growin Corn thank you
👋
I don’t want to be one of the assholes correcting people...but I’m sure the 4020 was promoted to auger use rather than demoted. Haha. Thanks for the video.
Every equipment brand has there issues and if anyone says different they truly don't know shit about equipment
In green view Illinois Macdons work a lot better than Deere with how the hills are
Makes sense. I think MacDons are a really good head.
Growin Corn yeah Deere don’t flex enough for us
