I did the same filters a couple years ago. Left the bottom cowl as its only 2 screws. Also heard about nightmares when water gets into that left fuse box. Get that back seal dude. Pro tip. I keep a roll of plastic wrap and rubber bands in my detail things. Cover the filter and that sensor to the top left to keep foam and water out. Good job, that came out clean.

FIY, 6:40, on my E92, the fixation thread there is used by the alarm system.
There is a switch installed there to detect if the bonnet is opened or not.
Cool vid - haven't seen many covering this so far. The only other consideration is your car seems to have different hose routing near the cowl. Stock has a lot of hoses attached to the cowl which will need to be sorted. Thanks for getting so in-depth with this series!

I like the mod. I might do this but get the OEM M3 upper cowl housing that houses the filters.
