My Wolf A1 upper is one of my fave 16" uppers. It is VERY accurate and the recoil is only a LITTLE more than a regular DI AR upper. Its really cool with a binary.....very easy double taps

      yesterday, and am extremely disappointed.
The third round stuck in the chamber, the extractor ripping a chunk out of the rim.
Another empty had the rim with a slightly upturned lip, from the extractor.
Also, the bore has extremely rough spots in it, to the point of leaving "fur" from patches stuck to the rough spots.
Upon inspection, the chamber has blackened rough spots in it, like scabs.
On fired, and chambered but unfired cases, the shoulder as well as the head area exhibit bright rub marks, making me wonder if it has a short chamber or insufficient headspace.
Ammo was Norma Tactical and M-193.
Wolf upper is paired with KE Arms polymer lower and JP Silent Buffer System with Gen ll H2 weights.

Great platform, but reach out to T91 tactical too see if they can set you up with a chrome lined BBL.
If not try "Tubb's Final Finish" ammo. That ammo works miracles on trashed barrels.

One thing that the Wolf A1 is cool for is with 22 lr conversion kits. I take the piston out and stick a CMMG Bravo in it and it eats whatever I throw at it. Taking the piston out means no nasty 22 crud dirtying up the gas system as opposed to a DI system getting stuff in the gas tube.

@@NorthernNorthdude91749 the biggest benefit of a piston is running suppressed without as much gas to the face. That's not a big deal to me, so it doesn't outweigh the fact that you're adding weight and more reciprocating mass to the front of the gun (which does alot to make it feel heavier than it is and adds to felt recoil), not to mention adds more moving parts (therefore more failure points).

After shooting many AR-types, I feel in love with the MR556 (for some odd reason named the MR223 here in the Netherlands, and I believe in most of Europe). It's so accurate that I can write with it at 100 yards. (And yes, that's with factory ammo.) The quality machining, zero tolerance fit and pins that can't accidentally come loose, I just love it. Quite the difference compared to the Diemaco C7 I had when I was in the reserve forces (not a bad rifle per se, but man she was well used to say the least...).
I have to be honest though: I've never shot a T91. Would love to, but I've never seen one on this side of the pond.
I get the preference for the T91 when both rifles are judged for 'common' military or self-defense purposes. You don't need a fast sports car when you're always stuck in traffic. In my opinion however, for any serious match shooter or perhaps also a special forces operator who wants/needs sub MOA accuracy (and who doesn't mind the bit of extra weight), the H&K is well worth the price.
You've probably guessed by now: I doubt the T91 could outperform the H&K when it comes to the H&K's sheer accuracy, but anybody who has different experience can correct me. I'm no H&K fanboy with blinders on, so I can take it. (Comments on my English are also welcome, by the way.)
Anyway, I really like your videos, MIsha. Maybe nice to know that you also have subscribers in the Netherlands. You really know what you're talking about and despite the fact that you generally provide us with lots of (great) info, you still manage to keep your videos interesting right up until the end. For the average shooter, T91 works just fine. Most of us can't drop 2k on the hk but then again why when u can by 3 of T91. Unless u into some sub moa bullsjit, T91 will hold up to the hk all day. At the end of the day T91 will go bang the same way. Use the balance and pay off kids braces. • @9770G
      @9770G Год назад

The problem with the HK is the upper by itself is a $2500-$3k upper. The wolf Upper can be had for $500-$600. Sure the wolf may not be as accurate as the HK but I’d be willing to bet the wolf is 100% just as reliable as the HK416/223 is. So for 1/5-1/6 the price I’d say any civilian would be much better off with the wolf.

IMO the MR556 is beyond not worth it as it is very far from the military HK416 while the SCAR 16 and 17 respectively are very close to their military counterpart. As for the Bren being superior? I'd have to disagree other than the price point. The SCAR is lighter, more proven to be extremely reliable after stupid-high round counts (not saying the 805 isn't reliable too, just not as proven), and I think the SCAR looks cooler....of course this is just my opinion.

Hey misha are you rich or something you always happen to have the weird rifles of my fantasies dude. That said I choose the t91 weight is important. Also the reliability ive read has been phenomenal plus this has been in service since 2003 vs the HK being slightly newer and not in wide spread service. I dont see why US army would waste money when a T91 is 1 cheaper to build and maintain and 2 utilizes more ar15 parts which we have massive surplus of. And 3rd it is a trusted platform ALREADY in service

Just doesn't much interest me. I go for military guns, or rather as close as I can get to them given the politics and laws of today.

Gotcha - are the receiver dimensions of the Wolf A1 the same as the MR556? Just wondering if the pic rail height is the same.

      三點發和全自動功能都依賴在下機匣,這裡的Wolf A1(也就是T91)只有上機匣,所以這樣比沒意義

It is a very reliable and very very accurate AR15 type rifle. Also nice machining and parts fitment. So I totally understand where you are coming from. This video is nothing more than our opinion and observations, also requested by some subs, cheers.
