This series has two more videos left. Then I’ll start my weekly videos again of what I’m at that week.

What are the Irish Rangers? When I google them it says they were disbanded in 1992. Great video series!

The approach to the forest across a field, bare of features, was a little disconcerting at time stamp 0.52 min. If the enemy were at the edge of the forest, you would have taken losses. I just don't like getting caught out in the middle of a field with no cover. However, there may have been dead ground on the approach, which would make the situation much safer for the attacking force.
Nowadays, if you are caught out in the open by drones, you are finished!

Hello, Luke! What's the cover on your helmet? Is it commercial?
Greetings from Russia! It has always been interesting how training works in the British army.

Great video, living outdoors in that weather alone is a challenge, do your troops that you are training give you feedback on this series?

Yes. I think it gets the newbies up to date and becoming team members quickly rather than being “sprogs”

Exactly right. They're qualified infantry when they leave ITC Catterick but they still have to qualify as Rangers when they get to Btn
