Is foam board the best to use for quality on a budget? It it will be my first diorama.

It really is a great place to start. You can find it at craft stores as well as dollar stores. Plus it can be carved and formed however you’d like. As you’re starting out, it’s an inexpensive way to learn and build your skills.
