Goose is absolutely on fire right now! I have been seeing phish since the mid 90s and Goose has that energy that phish had in the early to mid 90s. Their improvisation is so on point I haven't been this excited about a band in a really long time. Mark my words Goose is the next big thing! Well done sirs keep up the good work!!

Type 2 jamming is when the song goes through its basic structure (eg. chord progression), then the jam starts; if it deviates from the established, it's considered 'type 2'...to me it feels like you're taking a trip into outer space. I'd love if others expanded on this, it's a super cool concept, and I'm not even sure I described it accurately...

I'm watching from Wellington, New Zealand, and after the first Goose concert video I saw several weeks ago, the youtube autoplaylist is still serving up new live Goose concerts for me. I'll probably never get to see them play live, so these videos are my full experience of the band. Pretty impressive, considering they're currently my favourite group!
This show is truly a hidden gem. You all absolutely nailed Jive I > Jive Lee. Indian River > Time to Flee Reprise is a emotional masterpiece. The boys are playing with such passion and heart. By far the best version I have ever heard, and I've listened to every single live show of theirs from 2018 onwards. Fish in the sea > Drive continues the perfection with a liquid smoothness that is unmatched by any other version I've heard. They are in a moment of flow that cannot be replicated. As always, Ben is the driving force with his impeccable timing on the drums. Don't misconstrue, Rick, Peter, Trevor and Jeff, ya'll are amazing, but Ben is a wizard with the drums and when he is in his perfect flow the band just melts together following his jazz-influenced speed and timing. Love it guys and looking forward to seeing more magic again in two weeks.

Just finished listening to last night's Phish stream and couldn't even make it through the whole show. All I thought about was watching the next Goose show on YT. And as a Phan of 30 years, that's saying a lot.

Agreed man. I can't get enough of the geese and all these full shows on RUclips (keep em coming!!) but the overlays are pretty excessive. Some really great shots, but would be nice to focus for a minute so we can soak in the handiwork. PS please come back to CO soon!! Would kill for another Gooseboat run, but in the meantime, I hear there's a nice Drive-In theater in Fort Collins...

One day someone will realize that constant fading in and out, trailing images and quick cuts are the worst for concerts. Just put the camera at the soundboard and leave it alone. This is enough to turn anyone off from actually watching.
I love the music, but the editing made me nauseous. I appreciate the creativity in the edits, but we all come here to see the musicians do their thing. I would rather see a wide shot of the stage, lightshow and all.

Could happen sooner...also the Bass player strait up looks like he could tell you some crazy stories about porn shoots and always end it with "oh man...too much coke" ...

the trancendentalpsychedelifunkers' setlists are extremely well balanced these days and the amount of ->in->out-> combinations have never been more promising. if I don't go to a show soon I might start taking up the persian again.
