There's a reason why when Monica was small she looked up to Carol and called her aunty carol and a reason why Carol called Monica the nickname she gave her. Plus not only that but they were shocked when they saw Carol again after so many years so clearly they didn't know each other for just ' 1 day' lol.
Think she just kinda accepted it after Darcy said the hex would rewrite her dna etc she didn’t know what that would mean then when she first used her powers she’s been like oh that’s what happened then

When Wanda kicked her out 3. When she went in again. Whenever someone uses the word STRONGER I think of a physical character like Thor or Hulk but I'd rather say POWERFUL for those like Scarlet Witch, Monica, Dr Strange etc. but you can use whatever word you like, I don't mind. About your question, in my opinion, I don't think it really matters if Monica got her powers from Wanda's hex, that is if you know her abilities. She's very versatile.

First of all she still had no powers, and second: The hatch could be designed to be removed that way in an emergency and/or could be damaged when trying to cross the Hex and/or the Hex could have just expelled that part before than the vehicle that it was trying to expulse. As long as none of those 3 possibilities are officially ruled out, it cannot be determined that she had powers at that time. And in any case the same series implies and later confirms that when she crossed the Hex for the third time she obtained powers.
But when darcy had scanned her and saw her x ray was just light this implied that she had abilities and when she ripped the top off this shows that her abilities were forming
