There are so many possibilities with electro powers and they always just have them shooting blasts from their hands. How about manipulating magnetic fields? How about creating energy fields and more uses like using it to hover. Why not go full on Mikoto Misaka and use it to create weapons from the natural iron particles in the soil. There are so many possibilities and they just never use them.

Yeah for budget reasons (which did work within the story) he never really got a chance to do something like that. But we know from that scene with the electrical towers on the power line that he can tap into electric machinery on a very large scale. And we've seen him really push himself against Lash. He's no Thor, but if you designed a large power station for him to use as a weapon, I think he could fight a small army.
