We just did a stay at the beach club and left this morning, love watching your blog and wish I could've ran into you! Have fun it's an amazing location!
The Boardwalk was modeled after old-time Atlantic City, NJ. (Coney Island is in Brooklyn, NY.) And yes Jenn! Many of our boardwalks “down the shore” are full of similar games, rides, entertainment, and treats represented at this resort (but more modern now than the turn-of-the-century style Disney went for ☺️)
7 Dwarves is just too slow. The theme is top notch, but with all that track, it's injustice breaking/slowing down all the time and going so slow down the hills.
We were there as well. Said hi in the pool. What a wonderful resort! We had a great time. Best meal of our weekend was Flying Fish! You’ve got a beautiful family.
Yay, for a pool day! Jackson looked like he was having so much fun on the slide (I am so happy they got rid of the clown face. That thing was terrifying).
Jenn, love your hair color. This color really brings out your completion better than the red.. Really enjoy watching the kids, Oliver is growing so fast.
Family time at a Disney resort, water slide, and tie dying shirts, man that's the life I wish for😊 So, HAPPY Y'all Enjoy this staycation😊 Be Safe Take Care 😊❤❤❤❤😊
It’s definitely a yesteryear style Atlantic City NJ of the 20s boardwalk, but idealized in a Main Street USA. These days many of the boardwalks in nj are old and run down, and some are even in rough shape with more of a party crowd not others like pt pleasant still have hints of old school charm and have a nice family atmosphere
Jersey Girl here. The boardwalk does remind us of the Atlantic City Boardwalk 100 years prior. If you were to visit today you'd find a bunch of tattoo parlors, custom apparel shops, tons of pizza shops and salt water taffy specifically in Atlantic City, and a random haunted house or two - might honestly be a little similar to how Old Town is.
Yacht Club and Beach Club are sister resorts that share the same main pool. Their room themes are completely different. Different lobbies, restaurants, and quiet pools. We always stay at the Yacht Club (more nautical with darker colors). I think Beach Club’s theme and colors are more inviting for kids. Hope to see an AOA Cars suite staycation soon! The Cars pool is so cute 🚙
I feel if you’re talking about getting your own drinks refills. Animal kingdom lodge we got our own in the bottom restaurant. I feel movies hotel too?!?!
Ooh I hope they are at caribbean cause I’ll be there next week. I know they’re not at Coronado and I’ll actually be there a week later for other reasons but there’s still at least some options. Fort wilderness is like the worst one. They need way more options!!
As a new jersey resident, I would say it's more like a yesteryear type of Boardwalk they are going for. Right now, we have the same kind of wooden planks, but depending on where you go, there's rides and games and mini golf
Very reminiscent of an older Jersey Shore like Atlantic City or Wildwood. Coney Island is about an 1hr or so away in New York nestled between Brooklyn and Queens ❤Some core memories being made here , love it!🥰
My son got married at the wedding gazebo at the board walk and had a dessert evening at Epcot in 2017. Disney organised this. We live in England. Fantastic
I think we need to see a pool day at home! You have a nice new patio and your pool is beautiful..... maybe invest in a slide that is Jackson sized!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!🤞❤️
That's something I don't understand. They did all that work to the backyard and pool deck, but they never swim in the pool. Jackson has shown he loves swimming, and both boys are in swim classes. So why don't they swim at home is my question.
@hannahrockstar2857 I guess it's just me and my Midwestern mind, but they live in Florida. How cold can that water get? I swam as a kid in the Mississippi River, which was pretty cold at times.
Just got back from CBR and did the QS dining plan with two adults, 3 yr old and 6 year old. They have Freestyle machines at the main quick service and in some of the buildings by the ice machine. We just had to go across the courtyard to refill.
My mom and I happened to be staying at the Boardwalk Inn when you guys were too! I saw you when you were checking out, but realized it too late to say hi! Responding to your freestyle soda question, my mom and I got lunch at the Yacht Club's quick service and they had the freestyle soda machine! My mom was able to get cherry coke mixed with diet coke, so there is another place on the boardwalk that does have those machines!
I was just ok with the movie Wish until I watched the “extras” and learned about all the work put into the making of wish to celebrate Disney’s100. I watched n again and loved it so much more. ❤
Just finished our stay at the beach club left this morning, love your blogs wish I could've ran into you, have fun it's a great stay there at that location
7:10 there is definitely a comprehensive list somewhere online, but I remember having access to freestyle at Caribbean Beach, and Grand Floridian and POFQ definitely have them too!
Freestyle machine was at GF and Riviera last September when I stayed ! Jackson is really happy at the pool !jackson dessert looked yummy , so did his meal !
The boardwalk is more of yesteryear of Atlantic City compared to present but same general premise just with a huge beach in the background. There are also multiple boardwalks on the coast of NJ with rides and different shops.
Happy belated Mother’s Day, Jenn! I agree with you about Big Thunder being better than 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Tim I think you guys should stay at the Yacht Club it’s great! Glad you had a great stay!
I've been to Coney Island (Brooklyn) many times, originally from Long Island...and can say the boardwalk is similar. Its a little wider up in Jersey, but the design is the same. Same as the boardwalk in Atlantic City
Our daughter turned 4 yesterday and we got her the Alexa that looks like the ones in the rooms and Hey Disney, every time you said “Hey Disney” ours went off too 🤣.
I actually had to turn off the automatic Alexa on my tablet because every time I would watch something on either TikTok or Instagram or RUclips and somebody would mention Alexa it would do whatever the person on the video said to (If it had the capabilities) The same reason why I had to turn off the automatic "hey Google" on my phone!! 😂😂😎
Thanks for sharing your stay at Boardwalk! We stayed at the Yacht Club and wondered about trying iBoardwalk next time. Now, we think we'll give it a go. The location is great!
Really enjoy these staycation/resort videos. We stayed at coronado springs last year and the resort video helped xx. We are going port Orleans this year so I better go check out that video!
My dad taught us at a very young age, every other day at Disney is a Rest Day. It was TORTURE driving from Ohio and SEEING MK and not going xp But, you do need to take advantage of resorts and rest.
Funny you should talk about the Freestyle machines because we stayed at Beach club in 2017 and couldn’t get our soda refills in the shop because they were in the middle of changing the machines over to Freestyle (very annoying walk to get soda!) But we went back last year and they were back to regular machines?! Go figure….
The absolute best resort quick service is Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Kidani Village. Even though it's table service for lunch and dinner, it is considered quick service for breakfast, and the menu is sooooo good! And even better, you get gorgeous views of the Savannah while you eat!
Can confirm the boardwalk at Disney is absolutely nothing like the Jersey shore lol maybe Atlantic City in the 1920s. Ocean City NJ is the closest to what a boardwalk used to be but don’t expect to get the Disney Boardwalk experience at Seaside 😅
The boardwalk looks similar to what we have in NJ. It's right on/near the ocean. I highly suggest you guys go to Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ sometime this summer. They have 2 water parks on the beach, and 3 amusement piers. They have mostly kiddie rides, but a few bigger coasters and other rides for the high adventurous and some family rides such as the Zoom Phlume. It's an awesome place for the family!
VIVA LA MORRIS PIERS I AM 43 MY BROTHER IS 38 AND WELL ACTUALLY THE LAST WEEK OF JUNE THIS YEAR 2024 willmarck 38 years since my first trip down to Wildwood (I went pretty much every year throughout my entire childhood all the way up until about 2005 or 2006 and then life got in the way and then my parents started going down in September (for their anniversary) and probably around 2017 my brother and I started going again and then we went until 2022 and then life has gotten in the way again. Even though We had gone to Disney every 5 years since I was five My fondest memories will be of Wildwood! (Funny thing is we would get tickets to one water park and then run across the hotter than Hades sand to the other water park and then walk back on the boardwalk and I know I told you my age already but aging myself here it was for like either a $1.50 or $2 for a giant slice of Mac's pizza and a liter of soda!) (God I miss those days😢)
Beach Club is my faaaave, it tugs at my heartstrings seeing it again. Yes please do a Yacht or Beach Club stay again and take Jackson to the pool. The sand bottom and lazy river make it the best pool on property 🩵 Also I’m so glad that clown slide is gone it was bloody terrifying
"Also? The ambiance." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
omg when Tim went down the slide for the second time and you could see Jackson behind him so excited 😭😭 so cute
The ambiance 😆
I was thinking the same thing after the person was hacking in the background 😂
The ambiance 😂
The hotel is supposed to be reminiscent of the turn of the century board walk in Atlantic City, NJ. Coney Island is in NY
Disney website states Coney Island.
“The ambience” 😂😂😂
Ahh the ambience 🤌🏻
*guy hawks a loogie at breakfast* Tim: “ah, the ambiance here.” 😂
I absolutely love this slide- it is so fast- Jackson is very brave - it is a tall slide.
2:25 I love how they are showing off the spirit jersey but makes it looks like the kid is starting at the Cinderella castle
10:27 I love seeing you go down the slide 🛝 and say weeeee lol 😂
“The ambiance” 😂😂😂
Always a good day when TheTimTracker posts ❤️
The slide and pool at the hotel is awesomee
Yay Jackson doing big boy slides now wheeeee
My family was in the video!! We were staying at Beachclub when you guys came for breakfast! There is a coke freestyle machine at the yacht club!
We just did a stay at the beach club and left this morning, love watching your blog and wish I could've ran into you! Have fun it's an amazing location!

Big thunder is waaayyy better than seven dwarves. It's faster, has more turns and is longer. Also it is the wildest ride in the wilderness.
But I do love the theming on seven dwarfs, I definitely wish it had the speed of mine train.
7 Dwarves is just too slow. The theme is top notch, but with all that track, it's injustice breaking/slowing down all the time and going so slow down the hills.
Wow! Just finished day one! Amazing timing😂😂
We must have just Missed you there. Not even close to the NJ Seaside boardwalk, as you mentioned maybe in the Yester Years!
Love tie-dye. Can't wait to see how they turned out and you wear them.
Boardwalks are
Amazing at the jersey shore!
Grand Floridian has a free style machine
The ambiance🤣 my god is that man okay!?
We were there as well. Said hi in the pool. What a wonderful resort! We had a great time. Best meal of our weekend was Flying Fish! You’ve got a beautiful family.
Yay, for a pool day! Jackson looked like he was having so much fun on the slide (I am so happy they got rid of the clown face. That thing was terrifying).
Still, LOVING Jackson's take on the stay ❤ love you're family and love what you do!!
Jenn, love your hair color. This color really brings out your completion better than the red.. Really enjoy watching the kids, Oliver is growing so fast.
Omg😂😂😂 Jackson
obsessed with Alexa 9:02
Love how Jackson corrected Tim with saying Staycation at the beginning! Future Director!
What exactly did Tim say that prompted Jackson to "correct" him? I listened like three times and I can't hear it.
@@mattsvids0120 he kind of says it at the .07 mark.
@@irishgirl4977 Yeah I noticed that when I watched it one more time but then I couldn't find my comment to change it. Thank you.
@@mattsvids0120 You are good!
You guys need to visit Ocean City NJ. The boardwalk is so much fun. The beach is nice too!
Yes, Ocean City New Jersey is definitely the most family friendly. Cape May, NJ is wonderful too, but they only have a promenade not a true boardwalk.
Wheeee a fun pool day! Definitely big thunder mountain. Can't wait to see how the tshirts turn out ❤❤
French Quarter also has freestyle! Love you guys!
Jackson is such a good sharer! The tie dye is so cute!
Family time at a Disney resort, water slide, and tie dying shirts, man that's the life I wish for😊 So, HAPPY Y'all Enjoy this staycation😊 Be Safe Take Care 😊❤❤❤❤😊

I love resort days Hanging at the pool or exploring around the resort is a nice break from the parks
Loved the video cool slide the food looked good and now it's time to pay the price
Caribbean Beach have freestyle machines at the bottom of each building so you aren't constantly going back to the main QS location, so handy!
The food looks amazing 🤤🤤🤤🤤glade you guys are having a great time there ❤❤❤❤❤
You can refill your mug at any resort, like say, at there quick service dining areas.
there is a freestyle machine at Port Orleans French Quarter as well.
Grand Floridian, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans French Quarter also have a freestyle machines.
The coke freestyle machines are at Riviera, Caribbean beach, Port Orleans French
quarter, Beach club, Yacht club and the Grand Floridian
Yacht Club yes, Beach Club no
Beach Club had a FreeStyle machine during my stay a few years back. Have they removed it?
I feel if you’re talking about getting your own drinks refills. Animal kingdom lodge we got our own in the bottom restaurant. I feel movies hotel too?!?!

The quick service breakfast at Animal Kingdom is my favorite WDW hotel quick service.
Making happy memories with your family is the best ❤
Love all the hotels in the EPCOT area.
omg i had no idea they took away the creepy clown!! thank goodness🤣🤣
My son got married at the wedding gazebo at the board walk and had a dessert evening at Epcot in 2017. Disney organised this. We live in England. Fantastic
We’ve used the freestyle machines at loads of resorts, definitely yacht club, Carribean beach & Riveria and some others that I can’t remember.
I think we need to see a pool day at home! You have a nice new patio and your pool is beautiful..... maybe invest in a slide that is Jackson sized!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!🤞❤️

@@caitlynskiff2001I don’t think it’s heated so that may be part of why !

Yeah I agree - try Lake Superior! 😮😅🧊🥶❄️
I think we see a snapshot of their lives. We don’t know they don’t use their own pool. They might just not film it!
Just got back from CBR and did the QS dining plan with two adults, 3 yr old and 6 year old. They have Freestyle machines at the main quick service and in some of the buildings by the ice machine. We just had to go across the courtyard to refill.

ale and compass to go at yacht club is my favorite. boardwalk deli is good too! the grand has the freestyle machines. i wish all the resorts did! 🏖️

Boardwalk is themed for the 1920s Atlantic City Boardwalk and Coney Island Boardwalks
Yes, Mr. Gold, you are correct. For those who do not know, Coney Island boardwalk is in Brooklyn, NY. Atlantic City is South New Jersey.
The quick service at the grand Floridian has a free style machine
Gasparilla Grill at Grand Floridian has a freestyle machine!
I wanna see the finished the dye Tshirts!
I've been to Coney Island (Brooklyn) many times, originally from Long Island...and can say the boardwalk is similar. Its a little wider up in Jersey, but the design is the same. Same as the boardwalk in Atlantic City

Yea Jen I also agree it is my fav roller-coaster and it is not as fast as seven dovers 12:56 12:59 it is also my opinion 13:12 I think star wars😅

Looks like such a fun resort! Big Thunder is definitely the superior coaster 👍
Happy belated Mother’s Day Jenn!! 💐
Haha I also have video of my daughter running around on that astro turf, living her best life. Kids are so funny.
Most of the moderates and the value resorts have freestyle machines!
You should visit Ocean City NJ. You’d love it. It’s the most family friendly shore point in NJ

Hey Jen! Port Orleans French Quarter also has the freestyle machine
The Boardwalk is our Favorite!!! I felt like I was home watching this!
The Grand Floridian Cafe has a freestyle machine, they’ve had it for years.
Port Orleans FQ also has the freestyle machine!
