I was never a fan of this mashup when I first saw the episode. But now as I've watched it over quite a few times it's actually have grown on me a lot. Melissa & Alex both have such great voices.

This is without a doubt the Moulin Rouge version. Not even a question.
Yeah, this is the MOULIN ROUGE orchestrations and lyrics. It's strange they kept the MR alterations because when they say "Talk to me, Harry Zidler! Tellme all about it" it makes no sense because Harry Zidler was a character in MR. The owner of the Moulin Rouge, in fact.
Anyway, they should've kept the original lyrics which are "Talk to me, Harry WInston! Tell me all about it!" Since they're singing about diamonds, it makes more sense., Harry Winston was an American jeweler who actually owned the Hope Diamond at one point and founded the Harry Winston Diamond Corporation.
Marvin Melhorn their assignment is to sing a song from a movie.... that's why the whole playlist in the episode are OST of different movie ...

This was hands down the best introduction to the song .
Was this Sugar's last regular appearance? I know she returned for the season 4 finale and was featured in 2 episodes of season 6, but wasn't really given any lines other than "present and accounted for, Mister Schue!" and "say cheese!". I hate that the producers neglected the talent and charisma of such a great character and actress portraying her. They did the same with Quinn, Brittany and Santana by the finale. I'd have rather NOT seen so much of Sam and Klaine just so we could have a 5 second update on what happened with the other characters

+Paul Doe Sugar was such a fun charecter. she was funny had the coolest outfits and her dancing was amazing to. oh well vanessa seems cool as well the actress who plays sugar.

I like how it was a boys vs girls mash up contest where each group had to create their own, but the girls just took the mash up from Moulin Rouge.

it has one line from a different song and this was already a song in the 2001 edition of Moulin Rouge! called Sparkling Diamonds. How original.
Mashup, not a medley. this is only two songs previously mashed-up by the Moulin Rouge movie. i think a medley requires at least 3 songs from a single artist.
