I am sorry about this but this conversation about controlling your emotions even helps me get through the day when I feel a little 💩. I help me understand and learn better how to talk in situations that matter to me and stop being too emotional. I’m learning from this.
Being the strong one. ALWAYS THERE for others, great listener, great advisor and giving them your best love. Now that the time has come when the strong needs that in return and you can not be vulnerable because they are not sensitive to you when you do finally go to them to communicate something. Listening to this a month ago had a different meaning at the point I was in my life. Listening to this today November 27, 2022. Has me angry. Because I have been there for these people my whole life. I am younger. They are suppose to be the ones I learn from and I can go to for advice. Now that I want to work on myself development and get more out of life, they are calling me more than they ever have.
I have to continue to be the bigger person and love them although they don't care to love me in return. I am tired of one sided relationships. But the message I receive from this today is to love those who still are stuck living in their old ways, love those who don't love you and still hurt you. I am angry because I am tired 😫 Yet I must love because we all fall short, I hurt God and God still loved me.

Instead of reacting, consider "What can be going on with this person that has them saying or doing this to me?"
In any communication with another human being and they respond to you, that response is either a loving response or a cry out for help.
It's not "the event", it's what we do with it that determines our quality of life.
People tend to be whatever you make them, or however you view them.
Whatever you look for you will find or get.
Focus on what you want and you'll get more of it. Focus on what you fear and you'll get more of that.
