One of my personal favorite scenes is where The Rat King is defeated when he's distracted by Leonardo in an armored car, then tackled down and hogtied by Donatello.
While I still prefer the OG theme, this theme is still fire and gets you pumped. And I kinda like how they squeezed footage from the live action universe and I wish someone did a version that uses footage from multiple TMNT sources (2012, 2003, Rise, Shredder's Revenge etc). :)
In the Cyber Turtles episode, those 4 aliens who brought Cyber Suits into play deserved more episode appearances besides their first and only one in it, and so did Casey Jones, since that one was his final appearance. Imagine the Hockey masked vigilante as a giant Cyborg.
I forgot about these changes until re-watching my DVD Box Set. This show took such a dramatic turn starting with this season. A new theme song and different animation/art. But man, it sure is obvious that James Avery didn't voice Shredder in the final seasons (and many random episodes previously). Does anyone know why James Avery stopped doing the voice of Shredder, even though he was still alive back then?
@@wildetimes-anunofficialzoo5983 He was starring in Fresh Prince from 90-96 and it didn't stop him from doing the voice for much of the early to mid 90s. It probably had more to do with money than anything else. His cachet had grown by the mid 90s and he probably didn't need the show anymore.

Prefer the original cornball classic by Chuck Lorre, (yes, the same guy of "Chuck Lorre Productions") but admittedly this one is cool, and fits the darker tone, and redesigns of the later "red sky" seasons.
This song is underrated
even though tmnt got dark in seasons 8-10 i love this theme song!
Thanks to the 2012 turtles teaching them to be real ninjas!
@@Zetagator-yw7kv That's a pretty cool theory. The crossover is what lead to the events of seasons 8-10 in the original cartoon!
And turtles forever, they learned to be true ninjas not goof balls.

The Edgy Era of the Turtles began around that time.

2nd best TMNT theme ever!
I remember seeing this show when it was on CBS action hour on Channel 4 back in the early 90's.
Raphael: Oh, And By The Way, Rats Don't Rule, TURTLES RULE!
All: GO GREEN MACHINE!
I’ll say it: this is the best TMNT theme

I like how this opening has clips from the 1990 film spliced in.

This season 8-10 intro is not as good as the original season 1-7 intro, but this intro is still good.

Wtf is this. Come on, the og theme is iconic, even back then.
Probably my favorite theme song, so badass

He was starring in the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air around that same time (1994-1995), so chances are there were conflicting schedules.
